Happy Valentines day!

When I turned around, my father had gone. I flicked on my comm unit, taking a deep breath.

"This is Hela."I said. "Coulson is down. I repeat, Coulson is down." My voice quivered. "You may not need a medical dispatch."

Then I collapsed on the floor, sobs wracking my body.

"Hela, c'mon, wake up." I was shook on my side. I sat up to Nat's teary face. "You aren't hurt, are you?" She asked, her voice thick. I shook my head.

"Okay. Clint's up."

That was all it took to get me up and out of the control room. I raced to the hurt ward infront of Nat, my heart pounding. If I couldn't have my real father I could atleast have Clint. And Nat.

I threw the door open.

"Hel!!" He cried, throwing his arms open. I laughed, running into them, tears streaming down my face. "Oh Hela, I thought I had lost you."

I giggled into his chest. "It'll take more than THAT to kill me!" I said lightly, but my heart plummeted. Clint pulled me tighter into his chest. Nat sat down next to us on the bed, stroking my hair.

"Hela, it's okay." She soothed.

"No It's NOT!"

I buried my head into Clint's chest. "My very own FATHER, who I had loved and trusted, KILLED Coulson. Right infront of me."

Nat's face fell. "Hela, it's not your fault." She said, Clint pulling me close. "No one blames you for what happened." Clint visibly stiffened. "No one blames you, either." She added. "He may be your Dad, Hels, but we are your family, right here. All of us. We raised you, saw your first steps, heard your first word, drove you to school, watched you grow up. And what has your father done but stolen you away, and given you false hope?"

I nodded. "I loved him." I said, my voice thick with tears. "I loved him."

"The question is," Clint began gently, "whether you still do."
