"Talk to me, Doctor." Nick Fury announced as he entered the lab.

Dr Selvig looked up for a brief moment before returning his gaze to the many screens surrounding him, blinking up data with brilliant lights. "She's got a mind of her own, Director. She's a power source. We turn it off, she turns it back on."

"Where's Barton?"

"Up in his nest."

"I told you to keep an eye on the tesseract." Fury lectured Clint.

"I see better from a distance." Came the agent's well rehersed reply. "No tampering had been done. All these people are clean."

Then the tesseract decided to spit out a ball of blue energy. Clint and Fury stood infront of it, assessing the power that radiated from the blue orb.

"Wait....." I said softly. The light reminded me of an artifact my father had shown me on Asgard.

Asgard.

"The tesseract is a door to another universe, right?" I mused. Fury nodded. "Doors can open from both sides, can't they?"

The tesseract was spitting out small bursts of energy, faster and more frequently now.

"Hela, go to Agent Hill." Fury ordered. "Now."

I did as I was told, leading the room only seconds before I heard a loud, sizzling blast. Hoping for the best, I continued up the stairs towards Agent Maria Hill, who was waiting patiently for orders from the Director.

Sorry for the long wait, and I know this chapter is short, I'm going on an updating spree while I lay in bed...... Periods suck. So while I wasn't doing anything, I figured of try to update all of my long forgotten stories. Sooooooo here you are, I know it's bad. The next part ought to be really good though. I'll try to update again ASAP.

Thank you guys for all of the support!
