𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟐

"Uh.. what do you mean?" I said. "Let's sneak out and go to a diner." "We haven't been in a diner since we were kids." I said. "But sure let's go, but I have a question to ask, where were you? I sat in your room for hours." "Uh... Let's focus on the present." said Marcus. "Marcus, did you ditch me on purpose?" "You're my best friend, why would I?" "Tell the truth." Marcus sighs, "I was riding my motorcycle." "You know you could've told me that..." I said.

"Hey Marcus, it's getting late. I should head back home." "Okay, I'll take you home." "No, it's fine. You should go to bed." "Okay, I'll see you at school okay?" Marcus says. "Yeah, bye." You give him a small smile and wave goodbye. You get onto your bike and head home. You get ready for bed and received a text from Marcus. You ignore the text because you actually felt sleepy, you drift of to asleep.

You wake up and check that you have 6 new messages from Marcus. You ignore them and get ready for school. "Hey Honey. I'm driving you to school today." "Alright." I said. A couple minutes later, you arrive at school. "Bye Mom." You spot Marcus with Ginny. "Ow!" Hunter said. "Sorry Hunter." "Oh, hey Y/N." Hunter gives you a warm smile. "Sorry that I bumped into you." I said. "It's fine." Hunter says. You notice that Marcus is glaring at Hunter. Marcus comes your way and grabs your wrists. "What the hell Marcus??? I was in a middle of a conversation with Hunter." "Exactly. I don't want you talking to him." Marcus says. You let go and say, "You don't get to chose who I get to talk to." You go up to Maxine to hang out with her. "You seem angry." Maxine says. "Yeah, cause Marcus is being extra bitchy today." "What'd he do?" "I was in a middle of a conversation with Hunter and Marcus practically dragged me and said I can't talk to him."

"Seems like Marcus jealous." "Marcus doesn't like me, Maxine." "He totally does!!" "Even if he does, I wouldn't go out with your brother, imagine how awkward that'll be." Ginny comes up to Maxine and I, "Hey Ginny!" says Maxine. "Hey Maxine." "Hey Y/N." "Hey Ginny." "I'm gonna grab a snack from the vending machine I'll be right back." I said. "Hey." said Marcus. "Hi Marcus, want anything from the vending machine?" "No, I'm good." "Listen, I wanted to apologize for what I did." "And I'm being sincere."
"I forgive you, but why did you get angry?" I asked.
"I have my reasons." said Marcus smirking. "Whatever." I said. "Want to hang out tonight?" Marcus asked. "And do what? watch a movie like you wanted." "Fine, but you better not ditch me again."

At lunch, you sat with Maxine's friend group. "Ugh, the food here is disgusting." said Abby. You see that Ginny is sitting down at the table, and you wanna be friends with her because she seems like a nice person. "Hey Ginny." "Hey Y/N" she says. "How do you like this school so far?" "Honestly, it's pretty terrible." "The teachers suck, the food here is disgusting, and i can go on and on." You laugh, "Another thing is that this school is so boring, like nothing exciting ever happens." I said. "Another reason why this school sucks." Ginny & I laugh and kept talking throughout lunch. The bell rings and I wave goodbye to Ginny and head to my class.

A couple hours later, school ends, I get on my bike. Go home, shower and to get ready to hang out at Marcus/Maxine's place. You get a snack and see your Mom. "Hey sweetie. Why are you dazzled up for?" "Please Mom, don't ever say "dazzled up" ever again." You and your Mom laugh. "I'm gonna hang out at Maxine's place." "To hang out with Marcus?" she asks. "You know, I have a feeling you got a crush on him." "I don't Mom." Little did she know, everyday my feelings for Marcus get stronger and stronger. "Okay, I'm leaving to go to their place, love you Mom." "Love you too, and remember curfew!" "I know, I know." you say as you close and lock the door.

Ginny's Pov:
"Mom, I'm home!" "Hey peach!" Georgia says. "So how was school?" "It was alright, I made another friend." "Her name is Y/N." "What a beautiful name, I wanna meet her sometime." "I'm gonna do some homework." "Alright peach, I'll be downstairs if you need me." I grab my back pack and head upstairs. You peak at your window and see if Marcus is there. Ever since the night he climbed my window, I couldn't stop thinking about him. But, unfortunately I think he has a crush on Y/N." You start doing homework when you hear your window slowly start opening. "Who's there?" "It's me, Marcus. You got other boys climbing your window too?" "That's not funny! Who climbs up people's windows?!" "Well, that's not a friendly way to greet your neighbor." Marcus glares down at you, and your heart starts beating fast. You kiss Marcus, and he kisses you back.

Back to your POV:
You arrive at Marcus/Maxine's place and knock on the door. Maxine answers, "Hey Y/N." "Hi Maxine, I'm hanging out with Marcus today, can I come in?" "Of course." You and Maxine go up the stairs "Are you going to watch a movie in Marcus' room?" "I think so yeah, but we're probably just gonna watch it in the living room." "I'm gonna be in my bedroom, let me know if you need anything." Maxine says with a smile. I sit down on his bed and wait for him to come, I go on my phone and text Marcus and ask where he's at. You sigh then scroll down Instagram and Tik Tok. You also check everyone's Snapchat and Instagram stories.

Hours pass by and yet still no Marcus. "Where is that guy?!" You said. "That's it, I'm leaving." you get up and leave Marcus' room and go downstairs and see that Marcus just got home."Hey, hey, where are you going?" Marcus asks. "Home." I said angrily. "Why?" "You're really asking me why?" I scoff. "This is the second time you blew me off, where have you been going?" "Okay, I'm sorry alright." "Where the hell were you?" I asked. "You know what, never mind, I'm just gonna go home." "At least let me give you a rid-" "No." I said. You walk out of the house angrily and get on your bike and go home.
