Season one, Episode seven. "All Valley."

It's been one week since the new dojo, Cobra Kai has re opened and Johnny Lawrence had already made a good profit with many new students to teach. "Alright, gather around the mat." Johnny spoke up, catching the attention of each teenager in the dojo as he walked out of his office with his eyes on the clipboard in his hand.

"Now, we have new student coming in today. Uh, you know the rules, it's the one where... you know?" Johnny waved the board around trying to think of a rule since he was prone to not listen to rules, "Do you mean be kind, Sensei?" Miguel asked, "No. Have you ever met a kind cobra, Diaz?" Johnny questioned, "Respect? Sensei?" Aisha raised.

"Right! Yes, I want you to respect her and she's a Cobra now so, do what you usually do. Not you Hawk, you scare half the people away from my dojo." Johnny explained, while the last part made Hawk smirk slightly and he held his fist out for Miguel to bump.

After a few more minutes of Lawrence talking to his students, who were stood around the outside of the training mat, the bell to indicate someone had entered the building rang, making all eyes face the door.

Charlotte Ashley slowly made her way to the centre of the mat, making sure to take her shoes off before going any further. Once she was in the middle and facing an older man, Charlee quickly looked around at the kids in the dojo, it was silent but whispers were heard every so often about the new face in town.

Looking around Charlee saw a tall-ish girl who had brown hair but if you looked closely a navy blue tint could be seen in the light, and on her left stood another girl, a slightly shorter and larger girl, the two seemed pretty serious with what they were doing but Charlee wasn't quite sure. So, Charlee kept scanning through the variety of kids seeing many different ages and genders but something caught her attention.

Two boys laughing and muttering under their breaths, one was tan, with almost black hair and braces while the other one was quite pale, with a blue mohawk and a visible scar above his lip.

Sensei Lawrence bought Charlee out of her stance when he said, "Bow." so quickly Charlee lowered the top half of her body copying the actions of Johnny in front of her before standing back up straight and letting the middle aged man introduce her.

"ThisDragon. She will be starting full training with all of you tomorrow." Sensei Lawrence began to explain until the new add on spoke up, "It's Charlotte, actually. But you can call me Charlee." the girl told them, "No it's Dragon, your hair, it looks like a dragontail." Johnny pointed his finger at the plait which fell over Charlee's shoulder, Charlee looked down seeing what Sensei was talking about.

"It's a fishtail." Charlee corrected him, "Oh, what, so you would like me to call you Fishy?" Johnny asked making a few of the students chuckle at the possible nickname, "No." Charlee shook her head, "You call me, Sensei." Johnny reminded her, "No, Sensei." Charlee repeated.

"Alright, good, now you've been named for life. Anyway, someone needs to catch her upwith what we have learnt... so... Liv, take her to the back room and teach her whatwe have learnt so far." Lawrence pointed over at the brown hair girl from earlier, "There'sa back room?" Liv asked, "Yeah, just go through that door." Johnny nodded already thinking they all new.

"Wait, none of you knew that?" Sensei Lawrence questioned looking at them all, "No." "No, Sensei." many of them answered quietly, and Johnny looked down at the floor before shrugging, "Well, there's a back room. Now, Liv go teach her everything you have been taught." Johnny waved them off.

"Yes, Sensei." Liv nodded stepping forward onto the mat and leading Charlee into the back room, but Charlee didn't follow immediately, instead she looked back to the boy with the blue mohawk her blue eyes locking with his, but in embarrassment Charlee looked away before quickly following the other girl.

Once Liv and Charlee were stood in the back training room, the two could finally meet. "I'm Olivia Lincoln, but you can call me Liv, I don't have one of those shitty nickname, yet." Liv said, "Are they that bad?" Charlee asked, "Yours wasn't, but there has been Dip Shit, Four Eyes and I'm pretty sure we had Tits but I think he might have quit already." Liv shrugged with a small chuckle which Charlee smile at, "Oh, well I'm Dragon apparently." Charlee muttered still trying to get used to the nickname.

"Alright, let's get started then Charlee." Liv walked over to the mat catching a glimpse of the bright smile on Charlotte's face once she heard her real name.

After hours of Liv and Charlee getting to know each other, as well as Liv teaching Charlee the basic moves of attack and defence like a palm strike, forearm strike, elbow strike, kick to the lower area, knee strike, wrist defence, swinging punch to the head defence and straight punch defence, Liv was finally certain that Charlee could move onto the basic punches.

"Alright, follow my moves okay?" Liv questioned and Charlee nodded in confirmation that she was ready, "Junbi! Bow. Fighting positions... Good. This is a straight punch. Hai! And a double straight. Ha-hai!" Liv showed the first punch watching as Charlee copied, "Put all your anger into the punch, okay?" Liv instructed, watching as Charlee repeated the punch, this time with more power.

"Great, now, this is a Jab. Hai! And a double Jab. Ha-hai!" stepping back Liv watched again as Charlee correctly followed the punches, getting back into stance Liv showed another one, "This is an uppercut and an overhead, dependant of the opponents positions you could use this to knock them down. Hai! Hai!"

Charlee nodded and watched as Liv did the two punches before getting back into the fighting stance on the balls of her feet and repeating the move that she was shown, "Hai! Hai!"

"Great, now this is a Hook and a Karate Chop. Hai! Hai!" once again Charlee did it correctly, so Liv moved onto the last one, "Right this is a Spinning Back Fist, put as much power as you can into this and then we can practice on the bag." Liv explained as she stepped back allowing Charlee to attempt the punch.

And finally after a few tried Charlee managed to master the punch. So now, Liv was stood by the side of Charlee who stood in front of the punching bag while Liv called out each of the punches and Charlee had to get all of them right to finish for the day.

"Fighting position. And... Hook!" Liv called, "Hai!" "Uppercut!" "Hai!" "Double straight!" "Hai!" "I said double, again!" Charlee groaned at Liv's words and got back into her stance before waiting for the calls of Liv.

But after 10 minute Charlee still couldn't seem to get any of it done, "Concentrate! Again!" Liv raised her voice and watched as Charlotte took a deep breath before stepping up and she started again.

"Finally!" Charlee muttered after she had managed to complete the task, walking over to the wall she slid down and sat on the floor, leaning her head on her knees, "What are you doing? We have no time for slacking, if you're a Cobra Kai you put in the effort, now we're doing kicks." Liv stepped closer to Charlee who was looking up at her in shock.

"Wh--" "No, I'm just playing. We're done, actually I went a bit over time. Come on, let's get a drink and cool off, there's a mini mart close by." Liv laughed as she held her hand out pulling Charlee to her feet and the two girls walked out heading over to the shop after saying goodbye to Sensei Lawrence and Miguel as they left. And Charlee was sure she had made her first friend.
