Season one, Episode seven. "All Valley."

The two girls walked along the side walk heading towards the mall, the taller brunette was laughing at the girl beside her who's nose was still bleeding from the punch before.

"You alright, Charlee?" Liv chuckled, "Splendid." Charlee replied, her voice dripping with sarcasm, "Come on, it can't be that bad." Liv said, "Says you, you only have a small bruise on your jaw." Charlee replied.

This only made Liv laugh even more and soon enough the mall was in sight, "Oh thank god. It stopped." Charlee muttered pulling the bloody tissue from her face and using another one to clean any residue.

"Some on, Chick-Fil-A waits for us." Liv grabbed onto Charlee's hand and dragged her through the doors and up the stairs until they reached the fast food restaurant. They both waited in line until the man behind the counter called them up.

"What can I get for you today?" the man asked, "Uh, I'll have a Spicy Chicken Sandwich with cheesy waffle fries and a Coke please." Liv ordered before looking over at Charlee, "Oh, um... I'll get the same, please." Charlee nodded, not knowing what else to order.

The small girl reach to pull out her money she had earnt but Liv spoke up, "I got it, don't worry. I did laugh at you this whole way. So, I'll be nice for once." Liv joked.

After paying and receiving their order, Liv lead Charlee over to an area with multiple tables and they sat down at the first free one they saw. "Thanks." Charlee said, "Yeah, no problem." Liv smiled and just as Charlee went to take one of the fries another hand swooped in and took one of them.

"Yo, yo, yo!" Hawk called as he sat down opposite Liv, and Miguel was close behind with his head down and he slumped into the chair opposite Charlee, "I see your nose has stopped bleeding." Hawk mentioned as he chewed on the fry.

"Yeah, thankfully, I thought it was never gonna stop." Charlee tolled her eyes at the small memory of earlier. "Oh, I love free food." Hawk again took another on of the fries, "Okay, yeah just take my food, it's fine." Charlee deadpanned.

"Alight." Hawk shrugged going to take the tray of the cheesy fries but Charlee hit his hand away while taking a sip of her coke. "What's up with him?" Liv asked nodding her head over at Miguel who was looking around like someone was after him and his face showed panic.

"He's got a date tonight, with this girl, he's been worrying all day." Hawk explained, Charlee raised her eyebrows in shock, "Wow. When is it?" she asked, "Tomorrow night." Miguel finally said something, "Oh, shit." Liv laughed, "And I don't know what to do." Miguel dragged out the 'and'.

"Just take her to a restaurant." Charlee suggested, "I don't have the money, and guess what makes this more embarrassing, she's picking me up and taking me to the date, which I will repeat, I don't know where we are going!" Miguel was beginning to get irritated, "Have some cheesey fries." Liv said pushing her bowl of fries over to the boy, who then began to stress eat.

"So who's the special girl?" Charlee asked still drinking from her coke and making sure to keep Hawk from eating her food, "Her name is Sam." Miguel sighed dreamily, "Sam as in Sam LaRusso? Cause Aisha is friends with her, I think." Liv told him, "Good point." Miguel nodded standing up with the bowl of fries in her hand.

Miguel began to walk off and Hawk looked at the boy confused, "Yo, Miguel where are you going?" Hawk called after the boy, "I need help." Miguel yelled back, "We know." Liv whispered, "Can I have my fries back? No?" Liv continued but got no response from the love struck boy because he was already gone.

Charlee went to take one of the fries from her bowl but soon realised the bowl had gone, and looking over to the blue, mohawked boy seeing her food in his hands. But before Charlee could even complain, Liv's phone went off, "Crap, it's my mum. I got to go. Keep it PG kids." and that was all Liv said before she also walked off, leaving Hawk and Charlee alone at the table.

A silence fell over the two until someone broke it, "Can I eat your fries?" Hawk questioned, "Well, it doesn't look like I'm getting them back so sure." Charlee nodded taking the last bite of her sandwich. "So, you moved from East Valley, right?" Hawk asked, "Yeah, yeah we did."

"Why did you move, it's like a 10 mile drive from both places." Hawk furrowed his eyebrows, the teenage girl quickly thought of a lie and said it before Hawk became suspicious. "Just a fresh start for me, I guess. We've lived there all my live and they wanted something new." Charlee said and thankfully Hawk bought the lie and he dropped the subject.

Hawk looked up and studies Charlee's features as she was focused looking around the mall, her skin was slightly tan and she had light freckles dotted across her nose and when she smiled a small dimple would appear on her left cheek. "You got something..." Hawk spoke up reaching over and bringing his hand up close to Charlee's face, seeing how Charlee was quick to flinch when she saw the close contact.

Continuing to move, Hawk placed his thumb over the small amount of sauce on the corner of her mouth, he felt the girl tense at his touch but slowly feel at comfort, "Thanks." Charlee smiled wanting to look anywhere but Hawk's direction.

The two teenager soon started talking again, about anything that came to mind, nothing too personal because neither of them wanted to ruin a new possible friendship by just a question. But after a while they both knew it was time to go. "I think we should start heading off, I can walk you back if you want?" Hawk offered, without hesitation Charlee nodded and answer, "Yeah, that would be great." but she mentally cursed herself realising that Hawk knowing where she lived could put her at risk.

Side by side Hawk and Charlee left the large building and headed in the direction of Charlee's place, Hawk just following every step Charlee took, "So ... uh, do you have any pets?" Charlee sharked a new conversation, "No, I  want a hamster though, tell anyone that and I'll have to kill you." Hawk warned jokingly, "Your secret is safe with me." Charlee replied making the two lightly laugh and a now comfortable silence fell over them.

But to Charlee's dismay her freedom was soon coming to an end when the block she lived on was in sight and once the houses were in sight the girl stopped walking, "Well, this is me." Charlee said looking down at the floor, "Alright, well I'll see you tomorrow at practice." Hawk nodded his head as a way of saying goodbye before turning around and walking away.

Leaving Charlee alone she walked up to the entrance but looked back down the street at the Hawk who was still walking down the street, and Charlee kept on watching the boy until he had disappeared from her sight and she didn't feel that slight bit safe.
