Chapter One

Percy Jackson thought he'd seen it all.

But even after you fight a few wars, battle a couple monsters, and go through literal hell, you still have to expect the unexpected.

Especially on a day that started out as normal as this one-well, as normal as it can be for a demigod.

Percy realizes now that maybe he wasn't paying attention to where he was going, and fell into the portal because he was giddy and excited from news that Annabeth was going to visiting from San Francisco on the weekend.

Maybe he was bored, because Leo stays locked up in his tool shed, or with Jason and Piper, and everyone else was busy.

Maybe he was tired from practicing vapor travel, or because he had to go out of his way to avoid Frank and Hazels messy and awkward make out sessions.

Or because the only person he could spar with, was busy practicing how to fly long distances, and couldn't that day.

Or maybe it was because Nico and Will, the only other friends at camp, were having a picnic near the lake, and he couldn't swim there because he didn't want to interrupt them.

But at the time, it seemed pretty ridiculous and stupid to not notice the six foot tall, purple and black portal in front of him, and, much to Percy's demise, trip on a tree root, and fall in.

And to make matters worse, the only coherent thought he had was:

Schist.

It was pretty short, I know, but it's mostly just the introduction, it'll get longer later.
Ooh-also! I forgot to include this in the A/N last chapter, but I don't know what happens in the Manga so please don't spoil! This is basically after the events in the anime!
