ik this took forever to update. But, hopefully, since I made sure it was extra long (3313 words! Not including the a/ns!) that'll make up for it!

Kaminari didn't need to be a genius to recognize how awkward it was when Midoriya came to pick them up.

For one, Bakugo and Sero could barely meet Izukus eye. And when Izuku was helping other people climb out while trying to explain how the two boys at his side were good people, Bakugo actually let him help.

It may not seem like a shock to people who don't know him, but refusing help—especially from Midoriya—became a normal occurrence. And to add onto his strange behavior, Kaminari didn't think he heard one snarky comment out of him since they started walking.

Todoroki is always quiet, so that was normal enough.

Midoriya was done rambling on about how he doesn't know the details and how everything will presumably be explained at dinner. The small elf looking boy next to him seemed to be all out of jokes, but was very obviously still energetic.

And the blond. Kaminari doesn't know why, but the blond boy stayed silent the entire time, constantly looking over at him. He'd have to ask about that later.

The thing that unnerved him the most was Kirishima. He stayed quiet, not meeting Kaminaris eyes. Kaminari would've  rathered him be angry, to demand an explanation. This was so much worse.

Swallowing the lump in his throat, he kept walking, Mina at his side.

She seemed reluctant to stand next to him at first, but gave in after a while. They were close friends after all. That wasn't something he ever faked.

She let out an exasperated sigh, looking at the rest of their friends.

"Has anyone noticed everyone in this camp looks like they want to kill us?"

Bakugo lifted an eyebrow,
"Yeah, so?"

"Usually it's just Monama." She paused, "And like half the school."

The blond tilted his head at that and the other boy just grinned.

"This camp isn't one to trust people so easily." He said, "Give em some time, they'll lighten up."

He turned to Kaminari and his classmates,

"All right, since this camp is really fucking huge and it's going to take forever to get to the tables, let's introduce ourselves!"

He spread his arms out dramatically,
"I'm Leo, Bad Boy Supreme."

The blond rolled his eyes,
"It's just Leo."

He dropped his arms, frowning,
"You're no fun."

"I'm Jason Grace." For some reason he seemed to be looking straight at Kaminari when he extended his hand.
"And you guys?"

Hesitating, Kaminari shook it,
"Denki Kaminari."

Mina shook her head in disbelief,
"That's probably the first time I haven't heard you say something stupid like, Ladies Man, or some shit."
