Chapter 22: Takumi makes his move

After spending a few days at the country house with Masaru while he was also recovering from his injury, you guys took the time to explore the area a little bit but never stayed out too long just in case somehow Takumi found out where you guys were.

You guys spent most of your time in the house watching tv or movies and would often sit outside during the day or at night to get some fresh air.   When you guys would go out shopping to buy groceries, you would be so paranoid everywhere you guys went that it became obvious to Masaru that something was wrong.

The more he asked you "Are you okay?" When he knew something was wrong, you still kept telling him "Yeah I'm fine." Until you finally decided to sit down with him and tell him what's wrong.   You told him what happened at the first hospital visit when you thought you saw Takumi and told him about the second time when you heard the sound of a camera but it was nowhere to be seen.

"Why did you wait so long to tell me this?" Masaru asked.   You let out a sigh before saying, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you I just didn't want to worry you or my friends." Masaru nodded in response then he said "It's okay I understand." You smiled and thanked him for being understanding while giving him a hug.

"You promise you'll tell me everything from now on right?" He asked you.   "Yes, of course I will." You told him right before you two kissed.

After that you guys decided to have another movie night.

A week had past by pretty quickly and with the time you guys spent together in the country house, it felt like you guys were actually living together even though it was and still is a temporary thing until Takumi is put in jail.

Monday November 8th was the day you guys decided to go to the police station together since all of you had information about Takumi that could help the police investigation and for you to tell them everything you know and what he did to you.

You guys stood outside of the police department looking at the entrance before going in.  "Are you ready?" Mei asked you.  You looked at her without saying anything and just nodded in response.   Masaru grabbed your hand and held it tightly without saying anything then after you all took a deep breath, you guys finally walked into the building.

Takumi on the other hand was watching from far away and he was not happy with what he was seeing.

Those damn annoying people are trying to keep us apart forever.   They probably filled her head with lies about me...I'll get her back, I know I will.   They can't keep us apart because I won't let that happen and I know exactly how to stop that from happening.

Takumi left and went back home to plan everything out before getting back in his car to drive around and to find a good place to take you.

You and the others were at the police department for quite awhile because you had a lot to say. Once you guys were done giving them all the information they needed, you guys were finally able to leave.

Outside of the police department you felt so relieved after telling them everything that you guys went out to eat to celebrate the fact that soon this craziness will finally come to an end.

At the restaurant Kimi had a little speech so she held her cup in the air while saying, "Here's to the fact that a huge weight was lifted off of all of us and now that the police are involved we can now rest easily and get a good nights sleep. Especially (Y/N) since she really needs it the most. Cheers!"

Everyone cheered before their table fell silent and all they could hear was the sound of their forks hitting and scraping against their plates.  When you guys left the restaurant, you and Masaru parted ways with your friends after saying bye to them and giving each other hugs before walking away in opposite directions.
