"hey" he said softly as she closed the door.

"hi" she whispered.

"nice bunny slippers" he teased.

"shut up" she laughed taking a hold of his arm resting her head on his shoulder lightly.

"how about we go to the small café down stairs?" he asked quietly, it being three am.

"that sounds great" she smiled.

"what do you want neens?" he asked.

"huh? oh, i'll have a chocolate muffin and some hot cocoa" she looked up at him.

"that's stomach ache fuel for sure but since you're not feeling well so i'll let it slide" he kissed her cheek and she smiled up at him.

"so, two hot chocolates and one chocolate muffin" ricky paid and they sat down at a small table for two, facing each other.

soon enough they'd ate and were sitting in a comfortable silence.

both of their gazes wondering around the small café and occasionally to one another.

"uh, if you don't mind me asking..why couldn't you fall asleep?" he whispered.

"my brain wouldn't shut up. it felt like you were gonna leave from my life and it was tiring because i know those thoughts are far from the truth..right?" she asked.

"of course, i'd never leave." he shook is head quickly.

she smiled.

"get up?" he asked as he stood up himself.

she nodded her head and stood up.

"what now?" she giggled.

he smiled at the sound and pulled her into a tight hug.

she hugged him back sighing softly at the warmth, considering how freezing the small café was.

a few moments later, while they were still in each other's embrace, they felt a light tap.

"uh, i hate to interrupt but we're closing" a young man told the two.

"ok, let's go neens. sorry we kept you open" ricky said taking nini's hand.

"it's no problem" he said to ricky.

"so what now?" nini looked up as she hugged him on the lobby couch.

it was mostly silent, a few people checking in, but not many considering the hour.

he sighed with a small smile, "i don't know" he took a strand of hair putting it behind her ear.

"ricky?" she questioned softly.

"yes?"

"i love you."

tears fell from his eyes.

"why're you crying?" she bit her lip to stop her tears.

"cause..i love you." his tears rolling down faster.

"r-really?" she released her bottom lip from under her teeth.

he nodded before bringing his lips to her's.

"i'm so in love with you, nini" he smiled.

"i'm so in love with you, ricky!"

"good to know.."

"so what are we now?" he asked just verify as they walked back up to their rooms.

she giggled, "how about your my boyfriend and i'm your girlfriend?" she asked as they faced each other in the silent hallway.

"yeah, i like the sound of that." he said kissing her hand.

"well goodnight neens" he said bringing her into a hug.

"goodnight".

and with that, they parted there ways. not thinking about all the things that could go wrong in their newly rekindled relationship. though so many things could go wrong; it didn't matter in the moment.

because right here and right now..everything was perfect.
