Hoseok's perspective~
It was getting to be about nine in the morning and I was just waking up. Taemin was in the bathroom humming a tune to himself, I went over to him and gave him a hug from the back. "Whatcha humming beautiful?"
He turned around to see me and gave a smile, "I'm humming a tune for a song I'm making. My manager told me before we left that he would like me to be coming up with a theme and some song demos while being away. I have one, it's called Mars and it's about love. I wrote it thinking about you and today with getting married. I'll show you a demo later."
I sat down, of course he would make a song about this. It's a beautiful time in his life, I feel honored to have to be about myself. "It sounds really good so far. Was it in Japanese?" He nodded his head and continued to fix himself up a little more. "I like that, it's different."
"Thank you baby." He leaned down and gave me a soft kiss. "I'm very excited about today. I couldn't fall asleep for a long time because I was thinking about everything else that's going on. By the way, aren't we adopting a child after we're married? When would you like to do that?" I had gotten some more information and I just forgot to tell him...oops.
"Well it turns out that they were able to mix our sperms and DNA so the child won't be born until late August, granted it's the middle of June now. We have a little bit more to wait." I could see him smiling wide.
"That's amazing. Wait so this child will be like truly ours? Like ours ours? Like as in the child will have genes from both sides of the family??" He was about in tears, happy tears, but still I didn't want him to make his eyes puffy.
"Yes, the child will be truly ours. Don't cry love, after you told me that you wanted to have a kid, and after talking to my father and brothers a little bit more, I looked into different ways of going about it and we each gave one or two I can't remember, but we gave the doctors a sperm or two and they got back to me that they were able to do it. The child will either look more like you or like myself. What they did was cancel out as much of the egg as they could so the child looks more like you or I."
"I can't help but cry, I have always wanted a child but it's so much better that the child will be truly ours, Hoseok, that's the best news ever." He gave me a huge hug and then went in for a kiss. "I can't believe it, our own kid!" He looked at me, "So I'll be able to see features of you in the child?"
I smiled and hugged him tighter, "Yeah, you'll be able to once the child gets older, I knew that you were going to like the news." I laughed.
"It just made my day, the real highlight of my day will be marrying you, that's what I'm really looking forward for today for. We need to come up with some baby names, wait. Do you know what gender the child is?"
"I might.." I picked him up and spun around, "Guess."
Taemin closed his eyes and thought hard about it, "I'm going to guess a boy."
I spun him around more, "It's a girl."
He smiled wide, "Really?? A baby girl... that's adorable, we can spoil her and make sure she gets the right date when she's older, we can be her best friends! Let's think of names! It has to sound good with Jung though so let's think about what would sound best."
"I know I've asked you this a million times, but it seems like you have a different answer every time I ask. Are you going to keep going by your stage name as Lee Taemin or switch it to Jung-Lee Taemin?" He looked at me for a minute and hopped down.
"I was just going to keep my last name for stage purposes, but when in interviews I would like to be addressed with your family name. Because I know I have an interview coming up regarding my new album in the works so my manager already let them know the name change. They're excited to talk to me I hear."
I went to where our clothes were hanging up and picked out a shirt and jeans, we had to get ready and dressed at the church because there were stylists there that offered to help. "I mean that makes sense, you're a very popular idol."
Tae came over as well to get some street clothes on as well, once we got done getting dressed we both went out to get some breakfast before going to the church. Tae wanted something light so that he "wouldn't feel like a whale." As he described it, I don't think he would or could ever be a whale. When we were in the car Tae looked over at me, "When are we going to tell the rest about the child?"
"Probably closer to the time the baby is actually born, especially my father. If he found out that we did what we did I think he might be the slightest bit upset with us. Considering he believes that kinda stuff should be done after marriage, and well if he found out that we did this before we were engaged that might make him mad. Cause we each gave one in case the time would come and well once we got engaged they started working their magic."
Tae nodded his head and the car driver looked in the mirror at us, "What language are y'all speaking? It sounds pretty fluent."
Tae looked over at me not knowing what the man said, I held his hand tighter to let him know that I would take care of it, "Korean. We're from South Korea."
He kinda chuckled to himself and let out a sigh, "You foreigners are all over the damn place. You know, America should just be full of the people born and raised here, I never knew why they let up." I couldn't believe the things that he had just said, thank god that Taemin didn't know what he was saying or the driver would be in for an ear full. I translated it back to him and he looked at me with his eyebrows scrunched.
"I think that was a little rude, don't you think?" I said back.
"No, I think that people who come into this country should have been born here, I don't care about the rest of the countries. Americans can go wherever they want, because it's our freedom." Luckily my mother shoved American history down my throat as a kid because she thought that I would need it. I think that's the only good thing she ever did for me. "Plus, now we have people like you guys trying to get married over here, if your own country doesn't allow something then have you ever thought it just maybe wasn't right?"
"No actually. Us coming over here to get married should not be of any of business because you don't know us. Have you ever thought that the reason people come over here is because they came from some place worse? People in our country have not yet normalized same-sex relationships and the United States has. Your freedom on the other hand lies within this country where your citizenship is, other countries have the right to decline you if you cause trouble. It's not a terrible thing for other people from other countries to come over here. Adding onto this, if an American were to go over to another country say South Korea, you would still have to obey by our laws. You don't have unlimited freedom because you come from the United States."
The driver couldn't say anything else and more or less just shut up. "I still don't want you two talking in Korean, I have to know what you are saying because as far as I know you could be planning to kill me. You guys could be dangerous for all I know."
"Sir, how do you expect me to communicate with my fiancé if I can't talk to him in our native language? He's not fluent in English like I am. Why would we kill you?"
"That's not my fault, you Asians are supposed to be smart, he should've learned English. I just need to know what gets said during the drive."
"Stop saying things like that please, and please stop stereotyping us. You don't need to know what we are saying." I looked over at Taemin and started speaking in our own language softly, "He doesn't want us to be speaking in Korean because he wants to be able to understand everything we are saying."
He rolled his eyes, "That's so stupid." I nodded my head and held his hand tighter. "I'll be glad to get out of this vehicle."
"You and I both Babe."
Once we got to the church later on we both went to our own rooms to get dressed and get ready, "Mr Jung you look great today, how is California treating you two?" The guy was from this area but still offered to help get things ready and speak in Korean if I needed him too.
"Thank you, and it's been interesting." He nodded and left to get a few things, "What's up with him?" I asked one of the styling ladies in Korean.
"I'm not sure Mr Jung, I'll have you get dressed first if that's alright. The wedding starts in an hour and we need to have you ready to go." I went into the changing room and unzipped the bag my tuxedo was in, it was one of Taemin's favorites, it hugged my body and it looked very nice on me, according to Tae. I walked out and sat down, "Let's get you ready shall we?" She said.
"Let's get this show on the road."
