eric: "Everybody wake up we're moving out soon!" groans erupt from several of us as we force yourselves out of our bed.
Y/n: "how the hell can something so uncomfortable be comfortable when we have to leave." i say out loud receiving a few chuckles from the squad. i finish lacing up my boots and grab my SAW and pistol then proceed to the the chopper we'll be taking.

I stop talking to the chinook crew and take my seat as the rest of my squad and rainbow gets seated. "So," I say trying to start conversation, "where are you guys from?"
?: "I'm from Texas" a man with weird goggles responds with a smile as he extends his hand "names jordan but I'm thermite on the field"
I take his hand shaking it "I'm y/n and I don't have a callsign we don't really do that here"
Thermite: "ah I see, well meet my team" pointing to a red headed woman next to him wearing an FBI cap he says "this is eliza she's Ash on the field and next to her is our medic his callsign is doc"
I shake their hands as doc speaks up "Nice to meet you my name is Gustave I'm rainbows medic I'll be treating any injuries on this mission"
?: "My name's craig but you can call me blackbeard and this is valkyrie"
I nod as I turn to eric as he begins going over the plan making sure everyone from echo knows what to do, after the short briefing I lay my head back and fall asleep.
*Timeskip 5:30 am*
I'm shook awake by thermite as he tell me we're about to land so I gather my gear shortly after I feel the chopper touch down and the door drops as we file out and take up a perimeter.

After everyone disembarks we rally around ash who was appointed the leader for this operation.
Ash pulls out a map and compass and begins to speak "alright we've been dropped off 4 miles south of our objective so let's get moving" and with that everyone got in formation and started our 4 mile hike north.
