IQ's POV

2 months later

We were all sitting in the briefing room watching the footage from eagle's helmet cam for the hundredth time.

Helmet cam POV

Eagle and his squad were making a full retreat down the mountain after the complete obliteration of the rest of the assault team. They kept running and returning fire until they went through all their ammunition then they began falling one by one first a rpg hit near tachanka knocking him unconscious, eagle tried dragging the Russian as glaz mozzie and Blackbeard returned fire with their side arms. Blackbeard was the next to go down the camera turned to see Blackbeard applying pressure to his leg that was bleeding badly.

Mozzie and glad picked up Blackbeard and kept running behind mozzie was shot in the back of his plate carrier knocking him down followed by glaz. Eagle decided to stay with his squad and fight as long as he could with his m45 before he was shot and collapsed on his back.

The camera remained motionless as pool of blood began forming as white mask approached before the recording stopped.

I left the meeting room and went to the cafeteria with Ela Valkyrie Ash and Twitch, we got our food and sat down in silence. It's already been two months since they went missing and we don't even know if they're dead or alive everyone on base has been gloomy since we recovered the helmet cam. Rainbow has never been hit this hard before we didn't lose 1 operator but instead we lost an entire squad in the blink of an eye.

Twitch was the first to speak up, "We didn't find any information about what happened to them on our search mission." She said in a sad tone. The rest of us silently nodded as we haven't had any luck on our missions either.

Just then Cav came and sat down at our table looking absolutely exhausted, "37..37 god damn prisoners were interrogated and not 1 said anything about their location or condition." She said with a defeated sigh.

"I'm going to go speak with Harry maybe he found something." I say as I stand up leaving the cafeteria and walk to his office.

When I enter Harry's office I see him talking to 4 people I haven't seen before, "Oh IQ please come in and we're nearly finished." I sat down as he continued speaking to the unknown men.

"If you believe this is actionable Intel then I would like you to move on this immediately Nomad." Harry said before the 4 men turned and left.

"Sir what was that about?" I asked a bit confused. "That was a squad from ghost recon they believe they have actionable intel on the whereabouts of our missing squad and I just sent them to check it out. Now what did you need?"

"I was going to ask if there were any updates on the situation but I got my answer already." I said as I turned on exited his office.

I apologize for this chapter being a bit poor compared to the rest of the story but it didn't turn out exactly how I wanted but I don't want to spend all my time on this one chapter so I'm just going to move on.
