Ash pov

I was in the gym working out with Iq when harry's voice came on over the intercom, "can operators capitao fuze ash sledge and maverick report to briefing room 1"

Ash: "I have to go I'll talk to you whenever we get back." I met up with sledge on the way to the briefing room and we began talking about what kind of mission it would be we quickly ruled out a hostage rescue since fuze was coming.

Our conversation came to a stop as we entered the briefing room and sat down. "Thanks to the Intel eagle and blackbeard secured from the bank we have the location of a white mask bomb making base deep in the amazon and we just got permission from the brazilian government to raid the base. Before I continue are there any questions?"

Fuze: "are there any hostages?" "No hostages have been spotted from the drones you're clear to use your cluster charges." Fuze chuckled under has mask as he leaned back in his chair.

Harry: "you'll land at an airstrip on the outskirts of the forest then hike into the forest and begin doing recon on the base before assaulting and destroying the base the next day you all leave in an hour dismissed."

Timeskip 2 days
Sledge pov

I was laying down watching the base through my binoculars when maverick crawled up beside me. "See anything unusual?" He asked as he set down his ar-15

Sledge: "nothing we haven't already seen has ash and capitao came back yet?"

Maverick: "no not yet they should be here in a few minutes." A few minutes past before ash and capitao come running back into our camp with fear plastered on their face.

Fuze stood up quickly grabbing is Ak12 "comrades what is wrong?" "They spotted us as we were leaving they're coming now." Ash spoke quickly trying to hide her fear but failing miserably.

I got off the ground and began gathering my weapons and ammo as maverick quickly got on the radio, "rainbow hq this is rainbow strike team alpha we've been spotted requesting permission to break contact."

Harry: "negative we need that base destroyed now we cannot risk them moving the bombs to another base. You have Eagle mozzie and doc inbound for support they'll be landing soon you need to hold your ground."

Maverick quietly cursed under his breath before responding "yes sir we'll hold out until reinforcements arrive."

We each loaded our weapons and took defensive positions around our camp as we brace for the firefight that's about to begin.

Timeskip one hour

Maverick's pov

"Last mag!" Ash shouted as she continued to take accurate shots at the white masks as they slowly advanced on us.

I looked to my left to fuze as I grab one of his cluster charges, "what are you doing comrade?" He said as he began reloading.

Maverick: "I don't know if this will work but if it doesn't we're dead anyway" I stand up pulling the pin out of the charge and point it at the white mask praying it works as grenades begin launching out of the charge towards the hostiles exploding as screams echo through the jungle.

Dumbfounded that my idea worked I stood there staring before composing myself again and begin to duck behind cover but I had stood up for a second too long as a bullet tore through my shoulder knocking me on my ass clutching my shoulder in pain.

"Blyat maverick is hit!" Fuze says as he begins pulling me behind his cover, "hold on comrade you'll be fine" he says as he begins treating my shoulder.

I feel my eyes getting heavy as capitao call for medevac, I look up and my eyes widen in horror as a bomber runs towards us. Fuze noticed too but it was too late he was at us before he could grab his rifle, I stare as he holds up his detonator as I wait for it to all be over but I watch as his hand erupts into a red mist destroying the detonator as a second bullet goes clean through his head followed by two distant gunshots.

"Who's hit?" I hear a voice as I look over and see mozzie and doc running towards us, "about time you showed up." Sledge says while reloading.

Doc: "it wasn't an easy hike" he says pulling out his stim pistol and picks my up over his shoulders, "six ordered us to fall back he called in the rangers to deal with the camp."

Ash: "thank God I just used my last mag for my 5.7."

We popped smoke grenades as we began running up the hill until we came to a clearing as a helicopter began landing. "Wait where's eagle I thought he was here?" As I say that I see him walk out of the tree line and kneel next to the chopper covering us.

Eagle: "hurry the fuck up I saw a lot more mask following you!" Doc set me in the helicopter and began firing back. When everyone was on we began lifting off as eagle took doc's hand as he began pulling eagle into the chopper.

Doc's pov

I was pulling eagle into the chopper when blood spayed onto my face as eagles grip weakens and begins slipping, I grab onto him with both hands as I see a white mask aim a rpg at us.

The chopper quickly lunged upwards to avoid the rocket when it did eagle slipped out of my grip falling to the ground as the chopper lifted higher flying away. I watched as eagle pulled out his pistol shooting multiple masks before being hit in the head with a rifle stock and falling to the ground unconscious.
