«JUNGKOOK»

I clenched onto Lisa's hand gently as we strolled around the park. She had become increasingly reserved ever since she suffered an accident from a year back, that caused her to lose her eyesight. It did put a great setback on her dancing career, but never let her self esteem down.

It was difficult for her to accept the fact that things weren't going to be the same and she will have to depend on me for most of the chores from now, but the past few months that we've been together she has certainly shown significant progress.

The good news was that she was slowly improving and could identify some shapes from a distance although the doctors said there was ample time until they could operate on her.

I felt a slight tug on my hand that made me look at her. "You're surprisingly silent today. Normally you fill my brain with nonsense you keep talking all day long."

"Oh come on, you find it cute. Don't you."

"I...never said that." She wasn't one of those people who would easily convey their feelings but it was okay, I could understand what she had to go through.

"Its spring now, perfect time for the university students to come down and practice their violin concertos in fresh air." Lisa exclaimed, heaving out a heavy sigh as she heard some violins playing in the vicinity.

"Truly," I agreed before continuing,"the flowers are beginning to bloom, they're vast and assorted. Although you'd be the most beautiful flower I've ever seen."

"Oh God Jeon, stop it with the puns." I could say she was blushing, given the softness in her tone.

Our relationship started off on rough patches when we first met, right after her accident. She wasn't willing to share most of her thoughts with me but it was fine, as long as I could make her happy.

I always tried to pull out of the dark phase that still seemed to reside in her head that she wasn't the same glowing woman she'd been before. I was certain it was all in her head, because for me she would be the most endearing woman I'd ever seen and these little things had contributed to who she was as a woman today.

Her stomach rumbled, emphasizing that she was hungry. "You'll have icecream?" I asked, my head darting at a parlour at the corner of the street. Lisa hummed in response, as I enthusiastically walked over with her arm wrapped around mine.

Entering the parlour, I subconsciously walked a little ahead, forgetting Lisa behind by the entrance.

"Which flavour you would like to have, babe?"

"Uh...J-Jungkook?" Her voice was shaking when it reached me, making me realize how careless I'd been. Her head was hopelessly turned, looking visibly anxious for not having me near her.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to." I took her hands in mind, rubbing my thumb over hers as she slowly walked with me towards the counter.

The girl who stood behind the counter, serving the customers kept ridiculously gawking at us, specifically at Lisa. It did irk me at first but I decided to ignore it.
