«NARRATION»
School retreats were something that Lisa had always looked forward to. She loved the idea of living away from her troubled household (that comprised of bickering siblings and competitive parents) and enjoying the company of her friends if it meant only for a few days. This year in particular did not go quite well for the poor girl; she had been running a fever for the past three days and despite the reluctance of her parents, her friend Mina still managed to convince them that she would take proper care of their lovely daughter.
Although Lisa loved field trips, the thing she detested the most was the bus ride, especially to hilly terrains. And like usual, Lisa knew she would be third wheeling around, given the fact that her bestie was going to sit with her boyfriend Bambam and this thought itself made her very sour.
"Lisa-yah!" Mina apologised. "I'm really sorry. But what else can I do when there are only two seats in every section."
"Stop apologising to me! I would've puked if I were made to sit with you and Bam, given that he can't rest his hands off you." She teased, as Bambam suddenly popped up. "Lalisa! I heard that."
"That was my intent." Lisa laughed. "Don't worry about me."
"Are you sure about it-" Mina was about to argue but paused midway when an arm sneaked around Lisa's waist, making her flinch.
"I'll take care of your bestfriend." The boy laughed as Bambam side-hugged him. "Thanks bro!"
"Oh wait- is this why you two are wearing matching outfits?" Mina pointed out, Lisa startled at the question.
"Bish you didn't tell me you're matching with The Jeon Jungkook!"
"Huh, what do you- what the fuck, Jeon." Lisa turned her head to look at the guy, both of them coincidentally wearing similar outfits that made them look almost like a couple.
"I didn't know you like twinning, babygirl. Maybe we should start dating already." He winked as Lisa rolled her eyes.
"Yah! They're just matching outfits, plus I don't even like you that way." She scoffed but he ignored, walking away with Bambam to organise food and beverage for the ride.
"Wow so uhm, you happen to be very close to Jeon Jungkook hmm?" Mina wiggled her brows as a devilish smirk played on her lips. "Mina don't you dare...that asshole is the one who always runs into me at random times."
Of course, if Lisa were given a chance to date a guy from her high school, it definitely had to be Jeon Jungkook. She did admit that guy was hot but could be a literal bunny boy as well. The only thing that stopped her however though, was the trouble he got along. No, he wasn't a playboy - he did respect girls. But he was the school's infamous troublemaker or bad boy, however you would like to call it.
And so his very bad reputation seemed to irk her a lot.
"Yah don't lie to me. I've noticed you talking with him after dispersal. He certainly seems to be interested in you!" Mina exclaimed.
"Oh please." Lisa cooed. "We have accidentally bumped into each other outside school and usually he's the one who starts talking."
"Just think about it Lili, he doesn't even greet a simple hello to girls and stays away from them as much as he can unless he's tied up for some school project. You are the only exception. I bet he got a soft spot for you."
