I caressed Leo's fur as he purred softly, indicating he was done with his milk and wanted to sleep.

"I'll hang up now unnie, I have to put him to sleep." I answered to Jisoo unnie during our video call.

"What about Jungkook? Where is he?" She looked around, trying to figure out where my boyfriend was.

"Unnie, he just dozed off to sleep over an hour ago, he was tired so-" I paused when I suddenly heard a few groans coming in from our room.

"Where is that noise from-"

"Unnie I'll hang up, bye!"

I shut down my laptop screen before putting Leo on his bed filled with plushies and heading towards our room.

Walking across the corridor, I was worried why he was groaning loud in his sleep. But the thought of him having a nightmare never made a point in my theories.

I opened the door and let it ajar, as some light from the doorway made it's way into the dark room. I was too stunned to go inside of what I had just witnessed.

Jungkook was tossing and turning, violently pushing his body from one end to another. He kicked the blankets irritably as they made their way on the floor.

"No, no...please! D-don't come n-near me....no!!!" He repeated, put of breath as beads of sweat formed on his forehead. With a sudden no! he jolted awake, heavily panting.

I stood there in shock and confusion, wondering what exactly did he dream about to cause a huge disturbance in his sleep.

"L-Lali..?" I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard his soft voice calling me. I rushed towards him, giving him some water from the jug on the bedside table. He ran his hand through his hair, in bewilderment whether he was in the real world or not.

"Are you okay?" I asked, my hands cupping his cheeks as he held my wrist, slowly nodding. "What had happened to you, Kookie? What did you dream?"

His chest was still heaving, as he tried to take deep breaths. I helped him out by unbuttoning his pajama shirt - only upto three buttons and holding his hand tightly while rubbing his back.

"I....I'm not sure....if I try to remember vaguely, I saw that I was in a maze, being chased by a giant, fat Leo leading an army of his other cat friends...they were huge, almost like...giants, Lali! I was so terrified!!" He expanded his arms, trying to explain how giant he exactly meant.

I tried to stifle my giggle but ended up snickering. I bit the insides of my cheeks to finally stop laughing as he passed a deadpanned glare at me.

"I was being serious. It's not funny, Lali!!" "Okay okay....I see that you don't like cats, but Leo. He's different. He's your son, Jungkook. Appreciate him as a new addition to our family Kookie, you were the one who named it Jeon Leo." I patted his shoulder as he frowned and looked away.

"Awe. Kook-" I stared at him in awe and tried to engulf him into a hug, but he purposefully fell back on the bed, making me land on his chest with a jerk.

"Yah, you-" I whispered into his hard toned chest, to which he responded a soft "I love you too" before planting a kiss on my forehead.
