You Can't Always Have The Best of Both Worlds: Chapter 11

A/N: Some sexual content. Not alot but just thought to warn you! So you have been warned

I woke up on the kitchen floor. I looked around me and the kitchen was pitch black. I looked at the clock at it read 1 am. I rubbed my hands over my face and  I looked down and saw a little pink piece of paper. Then it came back to why I fainted. The note was written in blood.

It read what is black and blue and red all over?

I flipped the paper over and looked at what was written.

Your Boyfriend

Was all it said.

I knew it was from Alex. This is the type of thing he would do. But what did he mean? To me the obvious answer was newspaper, but I knew that wasnt it.

I really didn't want to think about this anymore. I decided to call Kaiden to make sure he was okay. He recently got out of the hospital last night. His mom wanted to get him so I wasnt able to.

"Hey" He picked up after the second ring.

"Hey do you wanna come over?"

"Sure Ill be there in 10 minutes"

"Okay see you soon" I sighed in relief. I realized it was really late, but I needed him here

"Are you okay Cailtyn?"

"Ill tell you when you get here"

and with that he hung up and I waited for him to come over.

10 Minutes later there was a light knock on the door. I opened the door and he pulled me in for a quick kiss.

I grabbed his hand and we went into the living room and sat on the couch.

"Wheres your family?"

"I have no idea" I said distracted.  How was I going to tell him what Alex was going to do? How was I even sure it was him? Only Alex would do this so im sure it is him.

"Whats wrong?" He asked as he took my hands in his.

I looked at his face and felt a tear roll down my face.

"Come on Caitlyn you can tell me"

Instead of telling him I got up from the couch and went into the kitchen. I came back a few seconds later holding the note I found and handed it to him.

He took the note from my hands and raised an eyebrow at me. He read the paper and looked at me.

"What is this? A riddle?"

"Flip it over" I said quietly looking at the floor.

I looked back at the note as he read it and his head snapped towards me.

"What the hell is this Caitlyn?"

"I dont know! I found it in my fridge"

"Is it from Alex?"

"From what im guessing it is, but im not sure"

He got up from the couch and wrapped me in his arms. I buried my head in the  crock of his neck and inhaled the scent of his cologne. He kissed the top of my head and pulled away from me.

"I wont let him hurt you"He looked me in the eyes and I could feel his words wrap around me like a warm blanket.

"Im not worried about me. Im worried about you" I whispered.

Then I kissed him hard. I kissed him with all I had in me. He was shocked at first, but responded. I pushed him back on the couch and straddled him and tangled my fingers in his hair.

I felt his hands go to my butt and he squeezed just enough to make me moan. I felt his 'friend' get excited at that and I slowly started rubbing him through the material of his pants as we continued to make out. He groaned against my lips and he pulled away.

"We cant" He said breathless.

"Why not?" I pouted.

"I want to, I really do. But theres a time for everything and now just isnt the time. I want it to be special and not when we are worrying about your crazy ex"

I sighed and got off his lap and sat besides him.

"But you promise we will?" I asked taking a peek at him.

He chuckled "Yes I promise"

"Okay you better get going. I have a photo shoot at 11 am"

"Okay and if you need me just call and ill be over"

I nodded my head as I walked him to the door.

He kissed me lightly before he went out into the night. I watched him get in his car and waved to him as he backed out of the drive way. He waved back before speeding down the dark road.

I know its not alot, but I wanted to update today. Im suppose to be doing a project right now, but I needed to write first.
