'Harry's POV'

Too many unfamiliar emotions were racing through me as I sat in the driver's seat, staring at Melony's face that was currently lit up by the street lamp near by.

"Can't we talk when we have more food?" She questions sheepishly, batting her dark eyelashes at me.

"It could, but you and I both know that once you have food, you're just going to ignore it entirely."

The red light that was reflected on the car dashboard disappears, being replaced by a green light, and I turn back to the front and start driving again. It's elevan o'clock at night, and I have no clue where any open frozen yogurt places are.

All too soon we reach another red light, and I groan. It's just my luck  on just this small stretch alone we've ran into all red lights imaginable.

"I don't know if we'll be able to get your frozen yogurt." I admit sheepishly, avoiding her gaze that is burning into the side of my face.

"Okay, take me to somewhere that sells ice cream."

I just nod my head as she reaches over and turns up the radio. It's a couple minutes drive until we reach a small Tesco that is open 24-hours. I park Gemma's small car in a park spot before shutting it off and climbing out after Melony. We look way over dressed to be entering a Tesco and I laugh, which causes Melony to look at me weirdly. I don't say anything, just motioning towards our clothes and she catches on fast, letting out a small giggle. I look at her closer, noticing the red tint to her eyes and the bittersweet smell radiating from her.

"Are you drunk?"

She tilts her head to look at me as we enter the market and begin the search for any kind of ice cream.

Her green eyes go inwards to her nose and I snort, her crosseyed face now showing her tongue. Definitely drunk. We walk together towards the frozen foods section, Melony whining as the cold air nips at her bare legs. Those damn legs that I can't seem to stop staring at.

"Can I ask you something?" She asks me, not removing her eyes from the freezer full of frozen sweets.

"Anything."

I watch as she bites the inside of her cheek, thinking about whether or not to actually ask me whatever it is that she's thinking about. A million thoughts and emotions fly through her dark green eyes as they flicker around. They pause for a second and I brace myself for what she's about to ask.

"Rasberry Chocolatey Chunk or Vanilla Honey Caramel?"

I almost laugh aloud at the question.

Here I was standing, thinking that maybe we'd discuss something serious, but nope. Avoiding it once again. I really hoped we could sort out everything tonight so I could take her out tomorrow.

"The Chocolatey one." I mumble, before she reaches into the freezer and pulls out a bin of Ben & Jerry's frozen yogurt. "Should I get my own?"

She looks over her shoulder with a judgemental look as she closes the glass door. The look basically screams that she believes that I may have the lowest IQ in the entire world. It's also one of the cutest faces I've ever seen, which confuses me as it brings up the emotions from when I first saw her earlier.

"Don't be stupid. I can't eat this all by myself." She declares as she walks back towards me, her heels making her as tall as me, if not taller.

I felt so bad for the man that was ringing up our frozen treat.
