'Melony's POV'
While impatiently waiting for Harry to get back, I'd showered, ordered some breakast food, and thoroughly brushed my teeth. It was depressing to watch as my Belgium waffle slowly disappered, leaving the white plate behind. I couldn't decide on what to wear, so I'd decided on something possibly too casual, but who cares. I'd also kept my makeup minimal, remembering Harry's words from last night and this morning. He'd made it clear that he thought that I was more beautiful without makeup, and that he didn't even want me wearing any. But mascara and lip balm shouldn't push him over the edge. I did touch up my eyebrows as well though.
Harry had texted me awhile ago, announcing that he was on his way back to my hotel and I was very fidgity as my excitement rose. I'd never been to an aquarium before. I had no idea what to really expect from our trip. I pulled out my thin black wallet and stuffed it into my black leather Valentino Rockstud double hand bag just as a few knocks thudded on my door. My head had a dull ache from how much I had drank last night, but luckily the hotel had some pills on standby for people like me.
I skipped over to the door, my grey suede Rag & Bone harrow nubuck ankle boots clacking against the floor. Without looking, I pulled open the large white door to find Harry awkwardly standing in front of me.
"Hey." He smiled, dimples showing as he smiles at me.
"Hi." I smile, backing away from the door to let him through.
He slides in past me, his black pea coat having tiny snow flakes scattered about. I pout slightly as I watch them melting. He notices my weird look, giving me a weird look of his own.
"What?"
"It's snowing?" I ask, walking over to the large window.
I pull back the white drape and peak out the window. Outside looks totally different now then it did last night when I went to sleep besides Harry.
The sidewalks have a light dusting of white on them, the streets are brown with slush, and people scurry by with coats wrapped around themselves tightly.
I groan when I realize that I hadn't brought a coat appropriate for this crappy weather. I tug down the sleeves of my grey Alexander McQueen oversized leopard-jacquard sweater and cover my hands as I continue staring outside until Harry clears my throat. Spinning around, I notice a ball of black under his arm and he's giving me a sheepish look.
"I figured you didn't bring a coat, or anything... So." He removes that black ball from under his arm and shakes it out.
In his hands now, he holds a coat made with the same material as his, but it's a completely different style, void of all buttons. He steps closer to me and I let the drapes fall back over the window as I turn completely towards him. His outstretched hand bares the black coat and I removie it from his hands before trying it on.
I slide in one arm at a time, noticing that the arms are a tad bit baggier than they should be. I give him a questionable look as I take the black strip of fabric that is about an inch and a half wide and tie it around my waist.
"Honestly, I wasn't sure what size you were." He admits shrugging. "That's what took me so long. Even the lady at the store couldn't really help me becuase I guess hand sizes don't help much."
I laugh increduously at him while shaking my head at him before I walk closer and wrap my arms tightly around him. I nuzzle my face into his warm neck as his strong arms make their way around me and pull me even closer to him. He smells like his usual scent, which is a warm musky smell that reminds me of the woods.
