Neshan stepped away from Monique's body. She was definitely dead this time. She wiped her hands - that were covered with Monique's blood - on Monique's t-shirt before stepping away and walking towards Josh's body.
"I'm sorry, baby" She cooed before bending down and stroking the face.
"I didn't mean to hurt you. It's okay, the bad girl's gone now" She whispered before kissing Josh's dead lips. She then walked towards the window and opened it.
"We have to go now otherwise we'll get caught" She whispered before laughing manically and picking Josh's body up and walking towards the window.
"You're a bit heavy, my love. Never mind. You'll be able to carry your own weight, soon" She climbed out of the windowsill and crawled across the wall to the window of the hotel room next to it and climbed inside. This room was also hers, she'd rented out the two rooms as she kind of expected something like killing Monique to happen which is why she checked in with the two rooms with two different names. She'd possessed two different humans to do it and then killed them afterwards. If the angels came looking for Monique's killer, they'd never find her. Neshan placed Josh's body on the bed before tucking him in. She looked at him and sighed, tilting his head to the side and looking at his neck.
"I need to sew your head back on. If I get you back to life you're going to want a head" She said before chuckling and once again going towards the window and sitting on the windowsill.
"I'll find another angel. And this one will give me the information we need and then we'll be together again. Don't you worry" She promised before blowing the dead Josh a kiss and throwing herself off the windowsill, letting herself fall and closing her eyes. She felt the wind whistling past her face and whipping her hair as she plummeted towards the ground. She then opened her eyes and smiled, whipping her wings out and taking flight over the traffic, she zig-zagged around cars and buses before going straight up into the air, whooping with laughter. You may think that humans could see her, nope. Humans can only see a demon if the demon so wishes. Sometimes demons can be caught on camera if they aren't careful and nephilim, even if they are unaware of their heritage can also see them. But for now, Neshan was safe. She enjoyed herself as she flew around the street but then decided that it was time to go back and flew to the large mansion that Alice had killed the owners of so the demons now lived in. She flew in through one of the windows before she turned and closed the door, locking it. The house was a manor house, passed down through generations. There would be no more people inheriting it, now. It had ten bedrooms, each with an en suite so each of the demons had their own bedroom with three to spare. Not bothering to get changed, Neshan walked straight out of the bedroom and turned to go down the hall towards the stairs.
"What were you doing?" Neshan paused and clenched her teeth before plastering an innocent expression on her face and turning to see Jadie standing a few metres away, face stern and arms folded.
"Nothing. I was sleeping" She said, pointing to the room she'd just came out of.
"Really? So you didn't just fly in through your window, like I heard?" Jadie said, glaring at her. Neshan clenched her teeth before pretending to smile.
"No, you heard me fall off my bed" She said, pretending to chuckle.
"Aw, what a shame. Did you hurt yourself?" Jadie asked and Neshan frowned.
"Ah, no, I'm fine" She fake smiled at Jadie before turning around to walk away.
"So you didn't hurt yourself?" She asked Neshan's back.
"Ah, no, whatever" Neshan got a few steps away before Jadie stepped in front of her. Neshan stopped, huffing in annoyance.
"Why've you got blood on your top, then?" Jadie asked, pointing to Neshan's wrist. She lifted her wrist and looked at it, sure enough there was blood on them.
