Two siblings, nephilim, descendants of the demon Lilith's last child are running and playing. They are both eighteen years of age but still enjoy the child-side of life. Alice is young woman with long and curly dark hair who is adventurous and seeks fulfillment in life. She likes to know all that is around her and to explore the world she lives in so she can, later on, improve it with her imagination. Whereas Edward is a young man with short and curly blonde hair. He is happy with what he has but that is recently getting very frequently less. Despite his demon roots he strives to make the best in life and keeps his sin to a minimum. Although, that does not mean to say that he does not enjoy it when he does. The two are the only family they have left to trust and fight for each other against the world. They are well-mannered, respectful and popular around the village they live but are still always being told off for not doing work, demon ways never fade. One day, however, Alice discovers something that makes her very excited. She suddenly remembers and stops running from her brother and turns, grinning widely, waiting for him to near her.
"What's that face for?" Edward asks, frowning at the intensity of her smile.
"Guess what they're doing tonight?" She asked.
"Erm... You're going to have to explain a little bit"
"You know, the teenagers of the village. The English elite" Edward frowned at his sister, the English Elite were ruthless and infamous at that time. They caused utmost trouble for rich folk and were a taboo subject for most people. It was a risk to say it out loud in the street for fear of sparking an argument.
"Alice, you know that that's a bad idea..."
"Oh, Come on Edward. You spoil all the fun! One night" She offered, sticking one finger up.
"No" He replied.
"Please?"
"No"
"Please?" She asked, drawing out the 'e'. Her brother, who's arms were folded and jaw was set, rolled his eyes and sighed deeply.
"Okay..."
"Yes!"
"But, if we die, it's your fault" He warned, Alice smiled and mirrored his point.
"You have my word"

That night, the two crept out of their house in the dark. They made sure their parents were sleeping before sneaking out of the door and down the street. When a suitable distance from the house Alice laughed gleefully, enjoying the rush of adrenaline from defying their parents. Edward, although enjoying the feeling too, couldn't help the little pinch of guilt at the back of his conscience. Looking at his sister who was giggling as she skipped along the road he was sure that she didn't have the same feeling, too. He was descended from a demon! So why was he feeling guilty?
"Al, you never did tell me where we're going" He inquired, quickening his step to walk alongside her.
"What?"
"Where are we going?"
"To the English elite. Their hideaway" She whispered, mystically before trilling with laughter once again.
"What are they doing today?" Edward asked, a little frightened of the outcome. He'd heard many stories about what they got up to sometimes and it was almost always illegal. Edward was suddenly regretting agreeing to this.
"Oh, I don't know. Some fires, probably. Maybe even a sacrifice. Who knows? All I know is that it will be the best!" She clapped excitedly and began skipping again.
"I don't think this is safe, Alice" He said, looking around himself to see if someone was creeping up on them. Alice stopped skipping and rolled her eyes at her brother.
"Edward you are such a little angel, it's unreal. Come on, let's go" She said before grabbing her brother's arm and dragging him towards the dump.

They entered the dump and, as Alice had said, there was a fire starting and there were people running around and chanting. Alice grinned and Edward blanched. Just then a boy around their age stepped in front of them.
"Are you rich?" He asked in a hostile voice. Alice growled and kicked the man in the shins before pulling his collar towards herself. The boy's eyes widened at the angry proximity.
"Who cares?" She growled. The boy looked purely scared.
"N- No-one" He stuttered. Alice grinned evilly and pushed him away from her.
"Oh, my Gosh, Edward. Look at the size of that fire!" She gasped, running closer to it. Edward gingerly followed behind.
"Look, Alice, I don't think this is safe" He warned.
"I think we should go home" Alice once again rolled her eyes.
"Edward stop being such a wuss!" She scolded and ran closer to the woman conducting the chanting and began dancing along. Edward was beginning to get very uncomfortable.
"Alice, come back here" He said, trying to sound authoritive. The mocking laughter of his sister was his only reply.
"Alice, I mean it" He said, slightly louder. Alice's laughter was louder this time and another girl joined in. The scene around him and his sister's demon nature was beginning to get to him. He looked around, trying to find a way to get to grips with the situation and get he and his sister back to safety when someone bumped into him from behind, almost knocking him over.
"Oh, sorry about that, posh boy" The grovelling voice of someone came from behind him and an arm pulled him up. He was spun around and another man's face was in his view. He narrowed his eyes at him before gasping and pushing him away.
"Rich boy! Rich!" He shouted, pointing at him.
"What, no!" He cried as everyone stopped and turned to face him, disgusted looks on their faces.
"He is the first son of a lord! He is rich!" The man cried, Edward tried hard to convince them otherwise but the men advanced on him anyway. Men grabbed onto his arms, not allowing him to move. Alice looked upon the scene in fright and began to come closer.
"Stop!" She cried.
"Alice, ru-" Edward saw his sister and tried to warn her but a knife was plunged into his chest before he could finish the sentence. Alice screamed as the men pushed her brother to the floor and came to run towards him when someone grabbed onto her arm.
"This is his sister! The lord's second-born!" The man cried.
"No!" Alice screamed, tears in her eyes as the others gathered cheered. A moment of selfish fear for herself passed before a knife was pushed into her own stomach. Her mouth opened in pain and she was pushed onto the ground alongside her brother.
"Alice..." Edward gasped, clutching to the wound on his chest, one hand crawling across the ground to her.
"I'm sorry" He coughed, a single tear ran down each cheek of the siblings as they held each other's hand.
"I love you" They each whispered as brother and sister that lay on the ground died side by side.
