Chapter 8 - Leaving

Today we were leaving and both Sharon and Alex wanted me to drive them to school. At around 6 I got up and got dressed in some comfort clothes and some vans. Jerome's still sleeping but I would expect him to, he stayed up till 2 editing. I grab the rental keys and thrown my hair in a bun.

I drive to my parents house and I get there at like 7 I was supposed to take Sharon to school, I honk and she runs out of the house with her backpack. I smile and say "Hurry before mom and dad change their mind" she smiles and laughs. When we get there she leaves her phone in the car, I can see her with her friends. I groan and hit the steering wheel.

I get out and since shirt was short sleeved my tattoos we're showing. Some guys check me out and I roll my eyes. I walk over to Sharon and give her her phone she smiles and says thank you and I leave. I am about to get into the rental when a collage student who just dropped off someone walks over to me with some other kids, wolf whistling.

I groan and turn around "What do you want" I ask putting on a look of pure boredom. He smirks and says "We just wanted to know what a pretty girl like you is doing all alone" I open the car door and say "None of your business" I get in the car and shut it, a rude Justus but I was annoyed. I drive back to their house and at 8:45 Alex runs out and hops in the car.

He looks ready to explode when I drop him off at the school gates he hugs me and runs. When I get back to the hotel Jerome's packing and his laptop is all packed up. I pack up my stuff then sit in the chair at the desk and look at my phone. I don't realize Jerome is done until I'm being pushed out of my seat. I fall down and Jerome starts laughing.

I groan and trip him, him falling down right next to me. We hang out until 4 when my parents come with Alex and Sharon. We say our goodbyes, I was planning on keeping in touch with Sharon s that would be fun. We go to the plane and board. After we take off Jerome unbuckled and lays his head in my lap. Out of habit I run my hand through his hair which I have found myself doing a lot lately.

I fall asleep and I wake up to Jerome shaking me awake saying we landed. We get off and we see Mitch, Jane and that girl, what was her name? Jerome smiles and runs over to her engulfing her in a hug he smiles and says "I haven't seen you in such a long time Bri" she laughs and hugs back giving me the evil eye. We get our luggage and drive to our apartment. Brianna was hanging out at the boy's apartment so it was just me and Jane.

"What's the deal between Brianna and Jerome?" I ask her unpacking. She sighs and says "Bri used to be my old room mate. She moved to New York but when she was here she was dating Jerome" i nod finishing up. It was really late so I just went to bed.
