Chapter 9 - Rob

March 12

Brianna had been taking up everyone's time so I for the past few days my schedule was the same. Get up. Get dressed. Eat. Work. Eat. Work. Music. Eat. Music. Home. I wasn't very active. Brianna left in the morning with Jane and came back at night with Jane. I basically didn't exist. I was getting ready to do the same schedule today but I didn't have work so I was going to adventure, I haven't gotten to see the city.

I pull on a SWS shirt and jeans, grab my phone, wallet and put my hair in a bun. I walk out of the apartment and down to the street, I start walking around and I stop at a park. I sit on one of the beaches and admire the calm morning, I go get a coffee to warm up and I continue to walk around. I get a text from Jerome 'Where are you?' I smile and reply 'Adventuring the city' he replies with a couple of emojis along with 'sad face, I wanted to hang out' I stop under and overhang.

'I'll walk over to your apartment' I reply with he waits a bit and I'm about to start walking again when he replies with 'ok come over whenever' I walk to his and Mitch's apartment and knock on the door. Brianna opens it and gives me a look, Jerome walks over and smiles at me. I walk inside and sit on the couch and Jerome sits next to me "Hey, what's up?" I ask him. He pouts and says "What I can't want to hang out with my lady friend without an explanation?" I nod smugly "No, no you can't" he rolls his eyes and I scoot farther away from him on the couch.

He pouts and says "Hey!" and grabs me by the waist, pulling me closer. I struggle but I give up and it there with Jerome hugging me still. Mitch walks in as Jerome puts his head in my neck, me still facing away. "I Ship It!" Mitch yells and runs away, I just laugh. Jerome lays his head in my lap and I turn on the TV. We watch a couple of episodes of the Walking Dead and I run my hand through Jerome's hair.

After like 3 episodes it was noon and I was getting hungry. Mitch walks in with Brianna and Jane and whines "I'm hungry let's go eat" I roll my eyes and Jerome gets up and I grab my jacket. We all pile into Mitch's car, Mitch and Jane in the drivers and passenger seats, me and Jerome with Brianna inbetween us in the back. We drive to a nice burger place and it's super busy.

When we finally get seated I look at the menu, I personally don't like burgers so I got a salad. When our food came I was the only person at our table who wasn't eating a piece of dead cow. After we ate we all walked back to the car but I stopped "You know what, I'm gonna keep on walking from here, you guys can go back to your appartment without me." they all get in but Jerome and he comes up next to me "I'll join you" I smile and nod.

We walk around, Jerome pointing interesting things out, when we get back to that park we walk around a bit. When Jerome isn't looking I silently slip away and up a tree. We weren't talking so when he turned to see me he was shocked I wasn't there "Logan, where'd you go" I laugh from up in my tree and he looks up I smile, "I thought a bacca's home was in the tree" I say and he rolls his eyes.

I eventually came down, I jumped off and Jerome caught me, and we continued our walk. When we came to a bench I sat down and enjoyed the quiet of the afternoon. We sit there in a comfortable silence until Jerome gets a phone call. He groans and awnsers it "Hello... With Logan.... What I can't hang out with her while your still here?...... I'll be back in a few" he hangs up.

"It was Bri, I need to go back to the appartment" I nod and he leves. I sit on the bench for a bit more then I continue my walk around the park. Later I walk back to the apartment, I lay on our couch and put on some music. I'm woken up from my slumber by Jane and Brianna walking through the front door I check the time 6. "What's for dinner" I ask.

Jane sighs "Well if you wernt anti social you would know were going to dinner with the boys." I roll my eyes "Where?" she rolls her eyes "Some Italian place, a friend of theirs is coming with them" I think about it "how fancy are you guys dressing up?" she shrugs "I'm wearing a dress for sure" I groan.

I get up and check my closet, nothing even remotely casual/fancy. I go into Janes room to see her all dressed up in this cute white lace dress and the fabric underneath cut off at the shoulders and the lace went as sleves, it went down to her knees. Brianna was wearing a cute white dress that had spaghetti straps and went to her knees. I smile and say "You both look beautiful", I open up the closet and look through Janes dresses. She comes up and pulls out a black one, it was black and reached a little past the knee it was covered in sequins I shook my head.

I keep looking untill I find one I'm ok with, it's black and long sleved it reached to my knees. Only a few tattoos would show in this one, I smiled and took it. Jane was happy with my choice and said "Now go make yourself pretty" pushing me out of the room. I pull on the dress and look in the mirror, my born hair was down at the moment and it looked nice so I left it down and brushed it.

I pull on a pair of black boots and grab my phone which had multiple cases, i put one on that has a white background then a black bird sitting on a branch about to take flight and the eyes were blue. I pull my hair over to the side and wait in the living room. Jane walks out first and she's wearing a pair of boots similar to mine, along with her hair lightly curled and a bit of make-up on. Then Brianna came out with a cute black jacket and her naturally curly blonde hair hung loose on her shoulders.

We drive to the resturant and wait for the boys, they pull up Mitch gets out first wearing a button up shirt and dress pants, Jerome in the same and then a man gets out of the back I recognize as Rob. He's wearing jeans and a plaid shirt, we all smile and all three of the guys walk over to us. Mitch smiles and walks over to Jane and wraps his arm around her waist. Jerome smiles and says "Bri, Jane you guys know Rob but Logan this is our friend Rob." I smile and nod.

I shake his hand and say "nice to meet you" we sit down at a round table and Jerome sits next to Mitch who sits next to Jane, whos next to an empty chair. Brianna quickly takes the open seat next to Jerome which I was gonna take so I sit next to Jane, and Rob sits next to me. I look at the menu and decide to get a ravioli but they say it's huge.

"Rob, do you want to share the ravioli?" I ask "Hmmm sure looks good" he says. We put down our menus and my sleve pulls up to reveal a few tattoos. I see Rob looking at them and he says "Are those real?" I nod "I have a lot going up my arms he nods "Cool" I smile. "most people find them intimidating, when in reality I'm a very nice person" he laughs and nods.

We order and chat idly "So how did you end up living with Jane?" Rob asks "Well, I ran away from home at the age of 18 and I traveled very far I eventually got here and I was having a coffee, a rare pleasure, when Mitch and Jerome walk into the shop, they see me wearing their hoodie which I got from my brother, they insist I come to their place and stay so I do then Jane has me come move in with her because Brianna moved out" I say.

He nods "Why did you run away" he asks "Being the oldest instead of having the most baby pictures or the most attention, like most families, it was the opposite, in my family if a stranger walked into our house it would seem like my parents had two children and I was the cousin. My sister Sharon got all of the attention. I had perfect grades and I could of gotten into the college of my choice but decided to find my own way so the night of my 18th I ran" I say he nods.

"Yeah sometimes being the oldest sucks" he says and I smile. Our food comes and we start eating. After we eat and the check comes all three guys reach for it but I get it first. I put in a 20 and let the boys pay the rest, after dinner outside the resturaunt Rob hands me my 20 and I frown. He smiles and says "You forgot that" I shake my head and whack him in the arm "I was paying" he shakes his head.

We exchange numbers and go home. I like Rob, he's so easy to talk to and when I finished my story about my past he wanted to know more. When we get home I change into pajamas and fall asleep in my bed automatically.
