★ ★ ★-Alex Mercer
He was the smart one. Also the mother of the group. Alex would know just how to cheer someone up in a flash, yet make them laugh with a sarcastic comment. He also found it easy to make friends. Alex was great with comforting others but not quite himself. The boy got anxious very easily but that's why he needed his friends.-Luke Patterson
The most upbeat and enthusiastic a person could be. Everyone knows Luke. The boy cannot stand still for two seconds and is practically a ball of energy, waiting to spread it to the next person. Luke was a bit of a troublemaker but that's where his friends come in. Probably the most enthusiastic with music in the whole school, and his teachers recognised it. Quite popular and could make friends with anyone who catches his eye.-Reggie Peters
A bit simple minded, but good fun. He can be quiet at times and gets shy easily, but when he's with his friend, he lets go. Unintentionally the funny friend, but Reggie takes that title with pride. Confused and clueless half of the time, but that's what everyone loved about him because he could still find a way to join in. Takes most things literally and to heart so everyone knows that about the sensitive boy.-Bobby Wilson
He could pretend he thought the band was dumb, but everyone knew he enjoyed it. He was the dad of the group and was constantly getting the boys out of trouble. Bobby didn't show emotion that much around others and kept to himself but his friend knew that that was just him and the boys knew he appreciated them, even though he would never admit to it.The four of them were pretty close already before the band was formed. Alex and Luke were friends since elementary school. Reggie and Bobby joined the pair in middle school.
Reggie had never really had any close friends. Sure there were people he would talk with at school but never anything more. Bobby had quite a few friends but nothing compared to what was to come.
"Hey." said Luke with Alex, both sitting down beside the boy with raven coloured hair. Luke had always had a thing with making new friends.
"Hi?" replied Reggie. The boy was quite confused as to why two people who he was familiar with were sitting at his table at lunch if he had never spoken a word to him.
"You look really lonely." said Alex with a hint of sympathy in his tone, but not much. The blonde was returned with an elbow in the side from his friend.
"He's just moody. I'm Luke and this is Alex." introduced Luke.
He knew the boys names, everyone did. But he didn't want to be rude.
"Hey, I'm Reggie. Sorry, but why are you guys here? I mean I'm grateful but why?" Reggie asked."Because you looked a little lonely and we felt bad so we wanted to make friends with you. Plus I heard you play bass which is awesome." Luke said, with a smile.
Reggie returned the gesture. "Yeah, I've been playing since I was 10."
"Cool. I play the drums and Luke plays guitar." said Alex. "How come you never sit with anyone at lunch?"
"I don't really have anyone to sit with. I mean I have friends but they usually sit somewhere else." he admitted, not making eye contact and getting slightly embarrassed.
"Well now you are sitting with us. We have a few classes together so we could walk with you there as well." offered Alex.
"Yeah, thanks." replied Reggie. The boy was shocked at what just happened. Sit with friends at lunch? Walk with them to class? For the first time in a while, he felt excited for something.
As time went on, the three boys got very close.

Next was Bobby.
"Oy Mercer!" called Bobby. The two were familiar with each other and had talked a few times."Yeah?" replied Alex, turning around the greet the boy.
"Tell Patterson that Mrs Bell said if he skips one more class, she has to ring his parents. Also we have a project together for History." he informed him.
"Shit that's right. You want to work on it at lunch?" he offered. Bobby nodded and gave him a smile before walking off. The Wilson boy could be cold-hearted and unsociable, but was overall a nice person.

At the next few lunches, the pair studied and got the project together while Luke sat with Reggie. Alex spent a lot more time with Bobby then he had ever done before. They only had 3 classes together and spoken briefly.
"Alex, do you think this is ok?" Bobby asked, turning his laptop around so the other boy could see. Alex, however, only looked up at his partners face.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" Bobby asked.
"I think that's the first time you have ever called me by my first name." he said getting fake emotional and wiping away an imaginary tear.
"Shut up." chuckled Bobby, punching Alex in the arm. Both boys laughed for a while.
"So do you play any instruments?" asked Alex, trying to make conversation. The boy had only spoken to Bobby a few times but he was really starting to enjoy his company.
"Yeah, guitar. You play drums, don't you?" Bobby replied.
"Yeah." answered Alex. The boys continued the conversation and got to know each other better. Turns out Bobby has a younger sister and plays football.
"You know Luke and Reggie, right?" asked Alex, as they were finishing up the project.
"I know Patterson but I've never heard of Reggie. Is that the kid with the dark hair that sits in front of Maria in Biology?"
"Yeah that's Reggie but to you it will probably be Peters." replied Alex with a laugh. "Do you wanna sit with us at lunch tomorrow?"
"Sure." replied Bobby.

The next day, the boy kept his side of the promise and sat at the table with Alex. The boys got closer and Bobby started to sit there most days, then most days became everyday. The four of them would hang out often outside of school and walk with each other to classes. Sure they all had individual classes with others but the four of them only shared one class together.
