"We could live on a tall hill, and run away! And be happy! Away from all of this, doesn't that sound nice Zel?" Chastity flashes a genuine, toothy smile. He had never seen her so passionate about something before.
Leaning against the tree with his eyes shut, and arms folded. Zeldris came here for peace, or that's what he convinced himself to think. A part of himself, deep down wanted to be bothered by Chastity.
"No."
"Awwww, come on," she gently grabs both sides of his face, causing him to quickly look into her eyes. He becomes embarrassed, swatting her hands away. "A nice house near a hot springs, on top of a hill! That sounds nice, don't be such a buzz kill. You know it does sound nice, admit it."
"No."
A heavy sigh escapes her mouth, a bit irritated with his 'tough guy' act. "Why?" She pokes his cheek, repeatedly. Going to multiple sides as he swats her hand away. "Why?"
"Because I'm loyal—"
"You're the commandment of piety, of course you're loyal, no doubt about it. The question is, are the people you rule over loyal to you as well?"
Her mouth curls into a warm smile, almost melting at the sight of his speechlessness. There was no doubt about it, he couldn't protest this statement, after all, it's a true one.
"I-" this leaves Zeldris baffled as his eyes widened. Would his father toss him aside for Meliodas? How could Chastity go from a silly person to a serious person in mere seconds?
"You wouldn't have to worry about that if we lived alone on a hill top!" She shouts with excitement, doing a small dance. "I'll be loyal to you Zel!"
"I don't think I can be alone with you for that long Chastity," he lets out a small, sheepish chuckle. Throwing small glances towards Chastity, hoping she didn't see him looking at her.
"But you're alone with me now," she cheeses, poking his cheeks again as he growled in agitation.
"And you're already driving me insane."
"Yeah but you love me though, I mean who couldn't love me, I'm me."
"Yeah yeah," he waved off as a small irk mark appeared on his forehead, "Are you really serious about the house on the hills?"
"I am... no one would use me for my powers there and I'd be alone with my closest friend. I think it'd be nice... Why? Are you going to build me a house on the hills or something?"
