Zeldris stands in the hallway outside of the room that Chastity was currently sleeping in, being confronted by Meliodas and Elizabeth due to their time restraints. Meliodas's aura became understandably darker, after all, Elizabeth would die in three days time.
Not that it was Chastity's problem.
The couple kept trying to drag Chastity into their charade and knowing Chastity, she'll help.
Chastity's a kind soul, a beautiful soul.
A soul that Zeldris didn't want to risk getting hurt or injured in any kind of way. He'd lose it if anyone laid a finger on his girl.
"You're getting laid while you know that I need your help now," Meliodas glares at his brother ahead of him. Zeldris had no regrets either, all he wanted to do was take care of his queen. "I need your help, now."
"Let her sleep," he stands in front of the door, preventing Meliodas from barging in there, "As soon as she wakes up we'll be on our way but as of now, you won't disturb her. You're not in a position to give orders Meliodas, not when you need our help."
"Y-you slept with Chastity?" Elizabeth places her own hands on her face, flushing, her face turning a rose red. "Why would you do that? She's not supposed to have s-se— intercourse."
"And why is that?" Zeldris eyes lowered at the girl, he had known about how Chastity was supposed to stay pure, some divine restriction. Although she was supposed to be married it didn't matter to him, in his eyes, that's already his wife.
Meliodas also stared at his timid lover, waiting for her to answer. "Chastity's immortal, it's true," Elizabeth clutches her chest, "but her willingly losing her v-virginity, that means she only has 3 days before she vanishes from existence."
"What?" Zeldris's deep voice could be heard throughout the whole castle. He grits his teeth, almost wanting to lunge at Elizabeth upon hearing this news. Elizabeth hops behind Meliodas, yelping at Zeldris's outburst.
"It's the Supreme Diety's doing... Tamriel would tell us that Chastity would need to have the Supreme Diety's blessing before engaging in things like that." Elizabeth almost cries at the thought of losing her 'sister,' "she was supposed to be married, her sole purpose of being here was to show the humans the right way besides using her strong magic for fighting."
"You're lying," Zeldris's pupils were small, they were pinpoint, his anger skyrocketing.
"I-I would never lie about this," Elizabeth whimpers, "When Sir Meliodas becomes demon king then maybe he can lift that restriction but Zeldris. This is the truth, saving yourself for marriage is righteous in the eyes of the Supreme Diety. That was Chastity's rule and she disobeyed..."
"I'll kill that bitch," Zeldris snaps, referring to the Supreme Diety. Whether he dies trying or succeeds, he wants nothing more in this moment than to murder her.
He just got the love of his life back, he just got Chastity back, they fixed everything and now the Supreme Diety's trying to take that away.
"Zeldris," Meliodas reaches out but Zeldris swats his hand away, "she won't disappear, I'll make sure of it, I owe Chastity this."
"What if we marry now, I can marry her now and it'll all be okay, right?" His voice lightens, shaking, he couldn't allow himself to cry, not in front of them at least.
"T-that's a huge step, I think it may be effective but you have to complete the ritual successfully—"
"Quit your whining and tell me already," Zeldris growls, thinking about the possibility of his wife being gone forever.
"A b-blood bond at the place you met her with a traditional wedding." Elizabeth's shaking more than Zeldris, she's scared of him. Even with Meliodas protecting her it's something about Zeldris's aura that reeked of animosity.
"Fine," a low, guttural sound comes from the small man. He raises his fist, slamming it into the concrete wall. Elizabeth flinches at the impact, he was beyond angry, this man is raging.
Nearby, Chastity jolts up from her bed, hearing the noise against the wall. She immediately hops out of bed, landing on her feet, her knees buck a little as it's difficult for her to walk.
"Z-Zel?!" She yells, her wings spread out, flapping to keep her in the air. She was sore, well at least her legs were. He made sure that she couldn't walk and he'd do it again.
Zeldris pushes open the wooden doors, walking towards Chastity who dives down at him, wrapping her arms around him.
"Did you hear that? It was like a loud blast, you're not hurt are you?" Chastity continues to hug him tightly, that's her man after all. She can't help but worry about him.
"I'm not, I just hit the wall Chas—stop worrying about me," he couldn't help but feel bad as the girl picks up his hand, rubbing her fingers across each of his fingers delicately. "Please love?" He looks at the girl, hearing the worry in her voice.
"Why'd you hit the wall Zel?" She brings his hand to her face, he cups her cheek, admiring her features. She has an ethereal glow. Oh how he wanted to freeze time and stay like this.
"It doesn't matter," Zeldris gulps, pulling his hand away from her face, getting down on one knee. "Chastity," he starts as she blinks in confusion.
"What are you doing, Zel..."
He grabs her right hand, kissing every knuckle on her hand softly. "You make me feel, Chas. I want to spend everyday with you, I want you to be happy, I want to be that person who makes you happy." Their eyes meet for the first time since he changed into this position. Her golden eyes tearing up.
"Will you make me the happiest being on Earth and marry me Chastity?"
