Secret Place
Her reaction wasn't the one he expected. In his head, Zeldris could picture her large smile, her loud fits of laughter, maybe even tears of joy.At this point she's crying, but she didn't look happy. In fact, she looked a bit saddened. Looking at the man who's still on his knee, she frowns.
"I don't deserve you Zeldris," another sharp pain strikes within his chest, Zeldris as he looks at the golden-eyed goddess in front of him. He couldn't help but wonder where that idea would come from. If anything, he didn't deserve her.
"M-marriage," she pulls her hand away, shyly rubbing her arm, "truth be told, Sir Zeldris, I love you so much and it really hurts me to say this but you deserve someone better than me. Someone like Gelda..."
"Hey," he softly says, getting off of his knee. He couldn't stand to see her cry, "Chastity I only love you. No one else, and don't compare yourself to her, you're beyond compare," his thumb touches the smooth, clear skin— her cheek. Wiping the tears away from her beautiful face.
"I love you so much," she croaks out, sniffling as she feels him wrap his arms around her. "I just feel like you n-need someone who can take care of you, I don't want you to think I'm a burden or anything."
"Chas—"
"And then look at me," she laughs, feeling the headache coming on, "I'm a mess, Zeldris, you don't need someone like me."
"Chastity," he grabs her chin, forcing her to look into his dark purple orbs. A stern look paints his face and features, he didn't like her thinking like that. "You're not a mess, you're not a burden, you're perfect. From every curve to the way you talk. The way you smile, it's like you stop time Chastity. You take my breath away love... you're wrong about everything Chastity. I hurt you, I lied to you and I'm sorry. I'm the one who doesn't deserve you but here I am, hoping that you'll make me the happiest being on this planet."
Chastity needed this reassurance, everything had been questionable. She started contemplating her worth, she felt like she wasn't enough, after all, he had to go seek love from someone else.
Love from Gelda.
"Marry me Chastity?"
Chastity gulps, nodding her head. "I'll marry you & I promise I'll make you happy."
"You already make me happy."

Although she could fly he didn't want her to exert any of her energy. Zeldris is carrying her, his arms wrapped around her torso while she wraps her arms around his neck, burying her face in his neck. The ground beneath them was breath taking as they pass numerous waterfalls, flower patches, and lakes.
"Where are we going?" She feels him slow down, still floating in mid air. "We've been flying for about 10 minutes!"
"You don't have to yell I'm right here Chas," a quick smile spread across his face as he begins to descend, still holding her tightly.
She could see the white lilies, dancing as a soft breeze blew through the numerous flower patches. Their secret place, the place they used to meet up was perfectly intact. It was almost like someone tended to this place, making sure weeds wouldn't hurt the plants.
"It feels like it was yesterday," she whispers, remembering when she first saw him: leaning against that now, giant oak tree.
"I've missed this place Zel," she twirls, falling backwards to lay in the flower patch. Some of the petals flying upward. "You've been taking care of it... haven't you?"
"Yeah," his gruff voice was low, almost shy even. As if he was scared to admit that he's been tending to this place. "It was the only way I could feel close to you." He walks to her, seeing how beautiful she looked as the sun leaked through some of the leafs. Sunlight only hitting some parts of her skin.
Zeldris sits next to his wife, touching her left hand. He could feel her warmth, her hands were always soft. "I'd speak here, hoping somehow and some way you were listening to me. Hoping you'd come back to me. And now," he rubs her left ring finger. Grabbing the ring he had in his pocket, he slides it on her finger.
"You're here with me and I'm never letting go."
Her bright smile couldn't be any brighter. She's cheesing, she could only dream of this moment. Marrying the man of her dreams, the one she wants. The one she desired for so long.
"This makes me so happy," she mumbles as he leans over, pressing his lips against her own. "Do you-" she stops as he kisses her again, a bit tougher than the first, "want to-" Zeldris cuts her off again as they continue to make out.
"Do you want to umm, doitagain?!"
