"... Gojō-sensei! Are you awake yet?!"
Yūji groaned as he stood at the door of his teacher's room, placing Keigo's car seat and duffel bag on the ground. After he and the other students had parted ways in the common room, he had taken it upon himself to return Keigo to Gojō for the night- yet after knocking on Gojō's door for nearly a minute, Yūji had yet to receive a reply.
Thankfully for the teen, Keigo was in a calm mood and remained silent in his car seat, lazily looking around his surroundings as Yūji continued trying to get Gojō's attention.
"... huh? Itadori, what is it?"
Gojō's door opened up, revealing the teacher dressed in his pyjamas and his sleeping mask pulled above his forehead, wearing a very confused look on his face. Yūji scowled and crossed his arms, exclaiming, "Did you seriously only wake up now?!"
"God, you won't believe the nightmare I had," whimpered Gojō, scratching the back of his head. "On top of my hangover, it was just awful! I dreamed that someone dumped their baby here and asked me to look after it! Me! Can you imagine?!"
Yūji's face was deadpan as he pointed first at Keigo, then the bag.
"Well, it wasn't a dream," he said monotonously, bending down and retrieving Keigo's notebook from the side pocket. "I read through the notebook while you were sleeping, and there's more information about him in it."
Casually tossing the notebook up to his teach, Yūji squatted down and unzipped the main pocket of Keigo's bag.
"According to whoever wrote the notes, he has a very strict schedule," Yūji began explaining. "He has a bottle every four hours, and since I already fed him at eight, you'll be the one who's in charge of giving him his bottles at midnight, four in the morning, eight in the morning, and so on and so forth."
"What?! Why does he need to eat so much?!"
"He's a baby. I looked it up and apparently, they all eat a lot." Yūji rifled through the bag and pulled aside some of Keigo's blankets and clothes, revealing a set of pre-made bottles he had prepared. "I made him two bottles for you to use overnight. Since he ate not too long ago, he should be falling asleep any time soon."
Yūji closed Keigo's bag and stood up straight, staring expressionlessly at his flabbergasted teacher.
"Also, his full name is Keigo Sugawara, and he's around four months old. But you can look through the notebook yourself and see what else was written about him. Now, can you take him?"
Gojō awkwardly glanced down at the infant in the car seat, still believing that he was in the throes of a hangover-induced hallucination.
"Sugawara? Well, I'll be damned!"
"You sure will be. I'm going to bed now."
"What?! I have to look after him myself for the rest of the night?!"
"Well, you slept the whole day away, I don't see why you can't. Goodnight."
Not even giving Gojō the chance to plead for his assistance, Yūji turned on his heel and waved over his shoulder before he headed back to his own room. Now standing alone with Keigo at his feet, Gojō pouted and placed his hands on his hips. His own brilliant blue eyes met those of the infant, and before he knew it, an intense staring competition had ensued.
"You sure do stare a lot for someone who doesn't know how to square up," said Gojō, threateningly widening his eyes at the disinterested child. "What's your problem? Huh? Huh? You want a fight? I'll give you a fight!"
Keigo's expression remained unimpressed, and, finally accepting that he was now responsible for Keigo's wellbeing, Gojō slapped a palm over his face.
