Flashback

I was walking to the girl's sleeping area when I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder. Instinctively, I grabbed the assailant's are and twisted it uncomfortably behind their back, only to realise that it was Bakugo who I was attacking.

"Oh, it's just you," I sighed in relief, releasing his arm from my hold on it, "What is it? Are you here to judge and criticise me because of my flaws and issues again?"

"Why are you so suddenly so close to Deku?!" he yelled, seemingly ignoring my previous comment, "I told you to earn my trust again but you haven't done sh*t! Do you even want our relationship?! Did you even care when we broke up?!"

"I'll take that as a 'yes' then. Look, who I chose to hang out with is none of your concern anymore; I thought there was no more trust between us? You don't get to pick and chose when you want me and just expect me to go along with that! Oh, and I'm so sorry that I'm not crying my eyes out every time that I see you. Do you want me to start now so that it can soothe your inferiority complex? Do you want me to start isolating myself and fall into depression again just so that I can prove how much I cared?" I glared, sarcasm dripping from my tongue.

"Are you serious right now?! You're seriously going to treat me like this after all that we've done together? After everything that I've done for you? Who am I f*cking kidding?! Of course you are! You're so inconsiderate of others and that means a lot coming from someone like me! All you care about is yourself and your problems! I have no idea what I saw in you anyways! All you do is create problems! Hell, you probably get high off of causing them!" Bakugo retaliated. The second that those last words left his lips, regret formed in his eyes but it was too late, the damage had been done.

"If that's how you feel, then you can f*ck right off," I replied in a cold tone, venom lacing my words as my face became devoid of emotion, "This was never about us, it was about your pride getting hurt. And if you must know, I did care. I haven't been the same since and I don't think I ever will be, not after tonight. The reason why I hadn't done anything to gain your trust again was because I didn't know how: I thought I had f*cked up too much. Now I know the truth. Thank you Katsuki Bakugo. I would very much appreciate it if you never interact with me ever again."

Then, I walked away, leaving him behind.

End of Flashback

(Y/N)'s POV

Jiro and I were walking through the forest, bantering lightly when I recalled that memory and I  glared at the ground., falling silent.

"Woah, what did the ground ever do to you?" Jiro joked.

"Well, when I was younger and  jumping in muddy puddles like Peppa Pig, it would always get under my nails and in mouth somehow," I smirked, returning to my somewhat usual self as we burst out laughing.

Suddenly, I noticed that there was a pink fog, snaking its way through the air so before it could reach us, I whispered to Jiro, "Don't breathe."

Silently, I thanked my paranoia which led me to wrapping a bandana around my arm just in case something like this happened. Unfortunately, my paranoia also made me wrap it super tight in case it untied and fell off.

It only took two or three minutes to untie but in that time, Jiro had passed out. 'Sh*t.'

Luckily, Yao-momo soon came with two gas masks. Quickly, I put one on Jiro and one on me but then, Mandalay sent a telepathic message to all of us saying that Bakugo and I were being targeted by the LOV. Since she had said someone named Kacchan, I knew that Izu was the one who told her.
