The One With The Truth

"Possess me", Astraea told Tom.

"Baby I can't possess you", Tom said shaking his head.

"Yes I trust you", she said. "Do what you have to do so we can be together. I trust you won't maim and kill anyone"

"Baby-"

"Tom listen", Astraea interrupted. "You out there with me will make me feel safe, please! You may be able to stop the attacks"

Tom nodded and smirked, "About time"

Suddenly, bright light erupted, it make Astraea close her eyes. When she opened them, she was in the common room, looking around, just like in her dream!

'Thank you for this opportunity Astraea, about time', she heard Tom say.

She shared her body with Tom now, she shared his thoughts and what she discovered frightened her. She saw the attacks, she saw the Dark magic, she saw Harry!

'Tom, you did the attacks?'

'Not so bright huh?'

'Let me out!'

'Too late princess'

Astraea had to watch his memories, how he used her body to open the Chamber of Secrets, how he hid her Christmas presents under a blanket in the Astronomy Tower, how he made her kill the roosters. It was all too much.

Days passed with Tom possessing Astraea, he could just get his job done, but no. He wanted to show her how stupid she really was. He made her pass the twins and read their minds, which showed that George loves her and really misses her. It showed that Fred misses her and misses their stupid bets. Astraea wanted to scream, to let them know she is here but being possessed, but she was too weak. Bit by bit, Tom is making sure, she has no life with him being excluded and it is working. No one seemed to notice the change. None, but one person.

Ginny came to Astraea one evening and said, "I know it was you"

"What?"

"You are attacking people, it has to do with the diary"

"Listen, stupid, spoiled, whiny little girl", Tom said through Astraea. "Any word out and you will be next". With that, Tom left.

Ginny went over the next day and sat down next to Ron. She looked tense and nervous, and her hands were twisting in her lap. Astraea was watching her trying to scream for her.

"What's up?" said Ron, helping himself to more porridge

.Ginny didn't say anything.

"Spit it out," said Ron, watching her.

"I've got to tell you something," Ginny mumbled, carefully not looking at Harry.

"What is it?" said Harry.

Ginny looked as though she couldn't find the right words.

"What?" said Ron.

Ginny opened her mouth, but no sound came out. Harry leaned forward and spoke quietly, so that only Ginny and Ron could hear him. Ginny drew a deep breath and, at that precise moment, Percy Weasley appeared. Ginny looked and locked eyes with Astraea who smirked. Well Tom smirked. Ginny jumped up as though her chair had just been electrified, gave Percy a fleeting, frightened look, and scampered away.

'Well I think we found the victim', Tom said.

'Don't you dare!' Astraea threatened, but Tom just laughed.

Astraea watched as Tom followed Ginny, until he caught her in an abandoned hall.

"Ginny", she heard herself say.

"Astraea, why are you doing this?" Ginny asked frightened. IT ISN'T ME!

"Unless", Ginny thought. "You are not Astraea"

"Smart", she heard herself laugh.

"HEL-", Ginny began to scream, but Tom punched her hard, making her pass out.

"Poor itty bitty Ginny", Tom said sarcastically. He then took out a knife and cut Astraea's wrist, using the blood he wrote 'Her skeleton will lie in the Chamber forever'

Next, he picked up Ginny and walked towards Moaning Myrtle's bathroom, he went to the sink and hissed, 'Open'

A passage opened and Tom dropped Ginny's body and followed using Astraea's. It was a slide-like entrance. They reached a door with snakes designs and Tom hissed 'Open' again and it opened. There he laid Ginny's body on the ground and put the diary next to her. He then started muttering few spells, and finally exited Astraea's body.

"You son of a bitch", she yelled at him. "How could you?!"

"You are just so naïve aren't you?" he smirked.

"You deceived me!", she yelled.

He just laughed and Astraea ran next to Ginny.

"Please wake", she begged with teary eyes.

A small bomb was heard in distance, Astraea searched for her wand, but couldn't find it. She left it in her room.

"We have company", Tom smiled.

"Go fuck yourself", Astraea growled.

Harry walked in few moments later and Astraea didn't know whether to cry in relief or panic.

"Astraea! Ginny", Harry yelled jogging towards them.

"Ginny — don't be dead — please don't be dead —" He flung his wand aside, grabbed Ginny's shoulders, and turned her over.

"She's not dead", Astraea whispered.

"Ginny, please wake up," Harry muttered desperately, shaking her. Ginny's head lolled hopelessly from side to side.

"She won't wake," said a soft voice.

Harry stood up quickly and Astraea's eyes widened.

"Tom — Tom Riddle?"
