Wednesday
Astraea actually went to the Great Hall the second day, but didn't eat much. She already feels a bit lightheaded. She was jut staring at her plate when Fred and George sat next to her.
Astraea groaned.
"We won't leave till you hear us out", Fred said.
"Fine, I'll leave then", she said getting her bag when George sat her down firmly.
"We were little when this happened", George started to explain.
"I don't want to hear this", she said sternly.
"We didn't think much of it", Fred continued.
"And now I got to hear it", she sighed annoyed.
"Why are you being like this?" George raised his voice.
"I'm not the one fake being best friend with you guys", she said harshly.
George opened his mouth to talk.
"Everything alright?" they turned around and saw Cedric standing there awkwardly.
"Just talking", George snarled.
"Actually finished talking", Astraea said standing up.
"Walk me to history of magic?" she smiled at Cedric.
"With pleasure", he smiled.
She knew exactly how Fred and George are feeling.
History of Magic
In short this is what happened:
Professor Binn's ghost came to class, gave them some parchment, told them to write down everything they know about Medeival Witch Hunts and then fell asleep.
In short, the whole class is in chaos at the moment trying to get some information from the other person.
Astraea wrote down what she knew and turned to leave when she saw George frowning at his parchment having written nothing.
"A witch-hunt was the Muggle search for and punishment of persons suspected of being witches or of practicing witchcraft", she told mumbled turning around to see if Professor Binns has woken up or no.
George looked at her with hopeful eyes.
"Well do write", she said sternly and he began to write down what she said.
"The period of witch-hunts in Europe and colonial North America spanned roughly the 14th Century to the 18th century. Those targeted by these hunts may or may not have actually been magical. Those found guilty of witchcraft were typically sentenced to death, often by being burnt alive at the stake. However, the effectiveness of burnings involving actual witches and wizards was questionable, as many, such as Wendelin The Weird, were able to escape death by using the Flame-Freezing Charm.
"The Salem Witch Trials, which occurred in colonial Massachusetts in 1692 and 1693, were a major traumatic event in the history of the wizarding world."
She then took off not giving another glance towards George.
Herbology
Astraea arrived to Herbology to find no one there but Cedric Diggory.
"Diggory", she greeted.
"Black", he smiled.
"How come you are here early?" she asked him.
"Had Charms, have to say, The Cheering Charm is not that hard"
"Son of a bitch", she muttered.
"What?"
"You had the easiest charm; we had to do Petrifus Totalus"
Cedric laughed.
Everyone started coming in when Professor Sprout came and started explaining the exam. They had to write properties, steps and other things regarding the Puffapod plant.
Cedric finished first, sending a smirk towards Astraea to which she just scoffed and rolled her eyes. After few minutes, she finished and left.
"Well when it comes to Herbology, I am better", she heard Cedric say.
"We will see Diggory", she smiled.
"Why the formality? Just call me Cedric"
She pretended to think for a while then said, "Nop, not there yet".
