Astraea was in DADA class with Remus when he came over to her desk.
"I need to speak with you after class Miss Black", he said.
"Everything alright Professor?" she asked furrowing her eyes.
"Yes", he said and moved on with the class.
After class was over, she waited to speak with Remus- of course after convincing George that everything was alright.
"What is it?" she asked him after everyone was gone.
"Look, I need your help", he said. "I want to teach Harry the Patronus Charm and I need you to assist me".
"No offense, but why?" she asked. "You taught me by yourself".
"No offense, but you have the shittiest life beside Harry's. You being there and being able to show him that you can perform it, will help him", he said.
"Makes sense", she nodded. "When?"
"Eight o'clock on Thursday evening, the History of Magic classroom", he told her and she nodded.

At eight o'clock on Thursday evening, Astraea was in the History of Magic classroom. It was dark and empty when she arrived, but she lit the lamps with her wand and had waited only one minute when Harry turned up, and five minutes for Remus to turn up carrying a large packing case, which he heaved onto Professor Binns' desk.
"What's that?" said Harry.
"Another boggart," said Remus, stripping off his cloak. "I've been combing the castle ever since Tuesday, and very luckily, I found this one lurking inside Mr. Filch's filing cabinet. It's the nearest we'll get to a real dementor. The boggart will turn into a dementor when he sees you, so we'll be able to practice on him. I can store him in my office when we're not using him; there's a cupboard under my desk he'll like."
"Okay," said Harry.
"And Astraea is here to learn as well?" Harry asked.
"No she is my assistant", he replied and Astraea saluted him.
"So . . ." Remus had taken out his own wand, and indicated that Harry and Astraea should do the same. "The spell I am going to try and teach you is highly advanced magic, Harry — well beyond Ordinary Wizarding Level. It is called the Patronus Charm."
"How does it work?" said Harry nervously.
"Well, when it works correctly, it conjures up a Patronus," said Remus, "which is a kind of anti-dementor — a guardian that acts as a shield between you and the dementor."
Remus continued, "The Patronus is a kind of positive force, a projection of the very things that the dementor feeds upon — hope, happiness, the desire to survive — but it cannot feel despair, as real humans can, so the dementors can't hurt it. But I must warn you, Harry, that the charm might be too advanced for you. Many qualified wizards have difficulty with it."
"But Astraea can perform it?" Harry asked.
"Yes I can", she replied smiling.
"What does a Patronus look like?" said Harry curiously.
"Each one is unique to the wizard who conjures it." Remus replied.
"And how do you conjure it?" Harry asked.
"With an incantation, which will work only if you are concentrating, with all your might, on a single, very happy memory." Remus explained
"Right," he said.
