a few years later 

Ezra is now training Mira in the ways of the force as he starts teaching the basics 

"Mira, reach out and connect with the beings around you especially that Loth Cat" 

"yes master" 

"now, what do you see?" 

"fear, love but sadness the creature is hurt" 

"is that the creature you are sensing or yourself?" 

"the creature"

"very good, now calm the creature show you are not here to pose a threat" 

"how do I do that?" 

"stay calm, use your bond with the creature through the force" 

"hey, well done Mira" Ezra mentions to her

"okay, what do I do now?" 

"open your eyes" 

as she opens her eyes she sees multiple Loth-Cats surrounding her sat down looking at her 

"why are they all here?" 

"you are not a threat so they are calm but you must remain calm"

"oh right, when does training end?"

"in a few minutes, reach out again and tell me what you see"

Mira stays sat on the floor with her eyes closed as she reaches out with the force 

"I see life, death, calm but violence"

"and between all of that?"

"balance" 

"that balance is the force, the Jedi seek to use the force for good protecting those who cannot defend themselves whereas the Sith use it for evil to try and control people"

"why do the Sith use the force that way? what happened to the Jedi?"

"the Sith use it because they are hungry for power always wanting more and the Jedi were killed by one of their own after he turned to evil and stormed the Jedi temple with a legion of clone troopers during the closing hours of the Clone Wars, now come on training is over"

Mira runs to the Ghost as Ezra collects his lightsabre attaching it to his belt before he starts walking to the Ghost where he sees Sabine and Hera on the ramp

"how did it go?" Sabine asks 

"surprisingly well, Mira learned to connect with some Loth-Cats and is unusually strong with the force Jacen is also progressing well however I am going to take them both to the old Jedi Temple on Coruscant so they can learn of the old Order" Ezra says 

"are you sure you want to do that?" Hera asks 

"of course, if they are to be the face of the New Order they must learn of it's past so they don't make the same mistakes but there is something I need to do" Ezra says as he grabs a speeder and goes to the old excavation site where he sees the entrance to the World between Worlds where he stands there as he enters he hears voices all around him

"you were my brother Anakin I loved you" he heard someone shout

"a powerful Sith you will become" 

he walks towards the window where he sees the death of Kanan

"Kanan, I am doing everything you taught me and now I am here to rescue you" Ezra says as he goes to grab Kanan from the fuel depot after he force pushed the crew to safety
