Shuichi plays the role of the prince in this oneshot. Enjoy!

     "sigh"

"another long day of just sitting around" Shuichi whispered to himself     

Shuichi was the son of the very famous King Saihara. But when Shuichi was younger he didn't get to live a normal life. He never had the time to hang out with his, "friends," instead he had to practice training with Kaito and Maki. He enjoyed hanging out with them but sometimes, he just wanted to do his own things. Shuichi enjoys looking at the garden flower's; his favorite flowers are the Gentians, other than that he had nothing else to do. All he wishes for is a normal life. 

~Morning~

"Prince, saihara"

"hm?"

"Your father is calling you"  

"oh, I see. Tell him I shall be there in a few minutes"

"As you wish"

Shuichi quickly cleaned up his work space and walked to his father.

"But why now?!?" Shuichi asked his father

"because you're old enough"

"But I don't want to"

"Well this is an order, you're going to pick a bride at the ceremony tomorrow"

~The next day~

Kokichi P.O.V

"Hey did you hear about the ball the king is holding tonight?" Kaede asked Kokichi

"Um, yeah. Why?

"I thought you were excited once the news was announced?"

"Yeah, but I don't know anymore, there are a lot of women and men here in this village. The prince could pick anyone."

"You do have a point, but can you at least attend the ball, you might be the lucky one, who knows. It's worth a shot."

"Ughh, fine Kayayday. I'll go, but you have to come with, ok."

"ok, sure. let's go get ready then"

Kokichi and Kaede walked to a nearby shop where they sell dresses (known as a tailor). The lady that owns the shop is Tsumugi Shirogane, she makes really pretty gowns and she just so happens to be very busy at the time Kokichi and Kaede arrive. 

"Hello, Shiro-"

"Just a MOMEN-"

thump

"Oh my gosh! Are you ok Shirogane-san?"

It seems Tsumugi had tied her shoes up in a knot of yarn. Kaede offered help but Tsumugi declined. Meanwhile, Kokichi walked around to take a look at the interesting place. Tsumugi's shop has lots of dresses on hangers all sorted by color and size neatly. 

"My apologies" Tsumugi said

"Its ok. Are you ok though?"

"Ah! Yes perfectly fine, not a scratch on me"

"So, what have you come here for?"

"Well my friend, Oma-kun, and I decided that we will attend the king's ceremony together. so I was wondering if you could make us gowns."
