Christmas special!

A/N A Christmas Special is here! I hope you will enjoy this oneshot! ^^

Shuichi P.O.V

This Christmas was going to be busy. Not only do I have a family dinner, but I also have a class get-together, before Christmas. Akamatsu-san wanted to get the whole class together for this year's Christmas present swapping. The last time we got together like that was at the Halloween party. I wish I had spent more time with Kokichi during that party.

When Kokichi and I arrived at Akamatsu-san's house we gently knocked on the door. It opened with a quick swing.

"Oh! Saihara-kun and Oma-kun! Welcome." Akamatsu-san said to us

"Ah- hello, Akamatsu-san" I said

"Nishishi~ Hi, Akamatsu-san!" Kokichi said

As we walked in, I realized that most of our class was already here. We were only missing Hoshi-Kun, Shirogane-san, and Yonaga-san.

"You guys can do whatever you want while we wait for the rest to come." Akamatsu-san said

"Alright then" I said

"Shumai! Can we play a board game with Amami-kun?" Kokichi asked

"S-Sure" I said

"Okay, let's go grab a game." Ko said with a cheery tone

All three of us decided on playing Chess, which of course, Kokichi picked.

After a few games of Chess the rest of our class arrived.

"Why was I invited here again?" Hoshi-kun asked

"Because you're one of our friends!" Akamatsu-san said with enthusiasm

"Anyway, sorry for keeping you guys waiting" Shirogane-san said with an apologetic tone

"Oh it's alright!" Chabashira-san squealed 

"Oww, my ears. . ." Yumeno-san whined

"S-Sorry, Himiko!" Chabashira-san apologized

Akamatsu-san then came out with a bowl of ripped paper in it.

"Let's get this secret Santa event started!" Akamatsu-san exclaimed

We all reached our hands into the jar. 

When it was finally my turn to reach into the jar, I started to wonder who I would get. I took out the note and walked towards the couch. I opened the note and to my surprise I got Kokichi. Speaking of Kokichi, I wonder who he got. . .

Kokichi P.O.V

Hmm. What should I get for Shumai? There are so many gifts I can choose from, but which one. I guess I should get him Kyoko Kirigiri's autobiography, which was recently released. Then that is what I shall get him.

 ~Later That Week~

I started to look through the shelves sorted through the genre of crime. I didn't think Kirigiri's autobiography was really popular, I thought wrong. Once I gave up on looking on the shelves I asked one of the employees. They said that they didn't have any of her books in the back and that the only ones they had or have are on the shelves or gone. I then went to another book store. This time the same thing happened.

I tried one more book store, I was about to call it quits for today but I didn't give up hope. I checked through the crime section of the book store, and to my surprise there was one more copy. I grabbed the book and headed toward the checkout line.

After I bought the book, Shuichi got back from work not too long after. I had to hide the book before he got into our room. I rushed into our room and hid the book in my closet.

"Kokichi! I'm home!" Shuichi said

I walked down the stairs, "Welcome back, Shuichi," I jumped up on him and hugged him.

~Five Days Later~

Shuichi P.O.V

What should I get Kokichi? Maybe another checkered scarf, no. Another cat plushie, no. Panta, no. What should I get him? 

I looked through the isles of the books, plushies, and even sodas, but I still couldn't find anything.

Maybe I should get some advice from Hinata-kun. No, I think he's busy with Komaeda-kun and his friends.

How about I look for some jewels, I remember I caught him staring at a pile of geodes and amethysts. I think that's what I'll get him.

I went around town trying to find a shop that had minerals and rocks. I came across one shop that had a giant geode and another down the street that had a few tiny amethyst necklaces and bracelets. Now, all I had to do was wrap these presents for Kokichi.

~Later on that week~

Shuichi P.O.V

It was time for my family's traditional Christmas Eve dinner. I was nervous about what my parents were going to say about the last dinner's incident at the end. But I later lost that feeling once they reassured me that they fully support my relationship with Kokichi. My little brother started bugging Kokichi about being an Ultimate supreme leader and how he promised to teach him.

We then started playing a new video game that my little brother got for his birthday a couple of years ago. After losing a few rounds to Kokichi and my little brother. It was getting late and it was almost time for Kokichi and I to leave my parents' house.

We all said goodbye to each other and then Kokichi and I left. It was a rather dry get-together but it always made me happy to be with my family.

~Christmas Day~

Kokichi P.O.V

We, the whole class, spent half of the day at Akamatsu-san's place discovering who our secret Santa's were. 

Apparently, Iruma-san had Kee-boy, Kee-boy had Akamatsu-san, and Akamatsu-san had Irzum-san, so it was a big circle for those three.

When it came to my turn, Saihara-kun gave me my gift. So I gave him his. His reaction was very cute.

"F-For me?!" He said

"Yes you, silly!"

"O-Okay. . ."

He opened the gift I got him. 

". . .Kirigiri's. . .I LOVE IT!" He hugged me

"I'm glad you do!" I smiled at him

After we finished opening our presents we said goodbye and went our separate ways for the rest of the day.
