A/N Another fairytale, Hope you enjoy this oneshot. Kokichi plays the role of Sleeping beauty. Also, I might change the story up a bit, I barely remember the fairytale's original plot. Hope you enjoy this chapter!
"Gather round, everybody!" The Queen yells
chattering
"I'm happy to announce that our royal family is welcoming our new baby boy, Kokichi Oma"
Screams of joy play in the background until a woman in black appears.
"Why hello, Kyoko Kirigiri" Junko said
"J-Junko?! But how?"
"Why...great question"
Junko didn't know the answer, it was the feeling of pure jealousy, that's why she came to "visit," Celestia and Kyoko.
"It's out of pure jealousy, really" Junko replied
"J-Jealousy, for what?" Kyoko questioned
"That, I don't know...now hand me the child"
Kokichi started crying and screaming because of all the frightened screams and yells. Worried tones could be heard all over the castle ball room.
"There is no use in refusing.." Junko said
"I-"
Junko snatched the child away from his parents.
"Jealous of this new born, I shall now curse you. When he reaches the age of sixteen, he will prick his finger on a spinning wheel and die.
Suddenly blue, red, and pink lights come flying into the room past Junko and towards the newborn child. Whispering into Celestia and Kyoko's ear, the three fairies, Tsumugi, Himiko, and Kaede take the child away from Junko's reach. The three women cast a protective spell that would only make Kokichi wall asleep when he pricks his finger. Far away from the King (or Queen) and Queen, the three fairies take the child to an old cottage in the forest. It was a deal, from now on the three fairies would take care of Kokichi Oma. Soon, when it was his fifteenth birthday he would be able to go back to the kingdom.
~15 years later~
Kokichi P.O.V
"Kokichi, would you be a dear and help me with the laundry"
"Of course, Kaede"
"You know, your birthday is coming up."
"yeah, I know"
"I can't wait" Tsumugi said
"Nyeh, you do know we need to tell him, right?" Himiko said in a quiet voice
"Yes, I'm aware" Tsumugi said in a sad tone
"Tsumugi, do you need help with that dress you were making earlier this morning?" I asked
"A-Ah, no thank you. But it was very kind of you to offer help."
I just slightly smiled
"Nyeh, I'm getting impatient, when will we tell him?"
"Soon, once I'm done with his drees, okay" Tsumugi said in a frustrated tone
"Nyeh, alright" Himiko lazily walked to her bed.
"Well, since your birthday is in a week, I thought we could celebrate it a little bit earlier" Kaede said
