Katies POV:
The first thing I notice as I landed in front of the Manor, was movement. Fae walking around, talking, sound of hammers hitting wood, birds singing. The manor was alive. Galad had his arm around me, pulling me closer. Caspan came out from the manor, rasing his arm to greet us.
"You are here!" He said.
"Yes, you have already started to work I see." I said in response, giving him a hug.
"Yea, the roof if leaking, and he had horder up some junk in the dinner area." He pointed to a pile at the side. And all I could do was to gasp.
"Is that?..." Galas asked.
"Yes... He saved the trophies of all prey, and not all of them are prepared." Caspan said.
"I didn't even notice..." I said, the smell hit my nose, making me gag.
"Me too... We are planing to bury it, but we haven't had the time to focus on that yet." Caspan sigh.
"I am more then wiling to dig a hole for that...." Galad said. "Just tell me were I can do it."
"On the backside, we have a hole started, you are more then welcome to start." Galad disaperard. And my brother and I started to walk inside.
"What have been taking up your time?" I asked, the great entrance was filed with fae, and building material.
"Here? The roof. It is sliding of. But more, a lot of citizens are sceptical to my right to the title. We have been forced to take time to convince them of my heritage. You being here might help." We walked up the stairs.
"Or make things worse." I said stopping in the second floor hallway.
"We have not been abel to clean out all the rooms yet. But your old one have been left untouched." I looked over to the door. "We can start on making one free for you if you don't want to..."
"It is okey..." Taking a deep breath as I said it.
"I would need you to go through the studie with me." Caspan said "to understand what everything is. You might have a better idea then I, and mother refuses to enter that room."
"We can do that tomorrow? I will need some time now to... Process." To be back. No claw marks on the walls, no deathening silence. No servents running around with they heads down.
"Tomorrow sound good. Good to see you sister." Caspan gave me a hug, only to then run down the stairs to help a Fae with carrying material for the roof. I walked towards my old room. Opening the door, and was meet with a dust filed room.
Dust covered everything in the room, big and small. Last time I had been inside here... I walked up to the window, closed. Someone had closed it after me. I opened it letting the wind come in, and sumend my own wind to get the worst of the dust out. A gray cloud that slowly dissolved into the air. I moved my bed a bit, and the sound of the book hitting the floor was heard. Herbs and Creatures had been stuck there for 70 years. I flipped through the pages, landing on the one with the manticore. So long ago...
"Are you okey?" Galad said from the door frame, I turned towards him.
"I am not sure..." I said, taking a step towards him. "O cauldron you stink."
"Some things can't even magic protect you from..." He said with a smile "I will find a place to clean up. Is it memories or the feeling of being back?"
"It is just weird, last time..." I looked at the window. Thinking back to that moment... After his screaming in the studie, I had just stood there, wondering how the ground would feal
