Finally, she got to kiss him like this again after four years. Four years of longing, which she refused to admit before.
Yejin knew that she hadn't moved on from Bin all this time, yet from her point of view the disappointment was still there. It hurts her when Bin got married to someone else in a short time after they broke up.
How could he move on so fast while I'm here considering leaving everything behind just to be with him? That was her first thought when she heard the news from Jihye.
And she hated him for that. That was the main reason why they always bickering with each other. She pushed him just to protect her feeling. Afraid of becoming 'weak' once again because of her love for Bin.
Without breaking the kiss, his hands carefully grabbing her waist; lifting her easily to the kitchen island.
While her hands that ache with the need to explore were between his hair, Yejin could feel her racing pulse. Even her ears could hear her own heart beating clearly as she instinctively opening her legs.
His thumb which previously rubbing the side of her face delicately started to become more intense while his teeth playfully dragging at her lower lip between their kiss.
'I'm sorry.' Bin said for gripping the side of her face intensely before. Both of their lids were still close as their noses meet.
'...No.' Yejin shook her head and let out a small laugh. As she tried to catch some oxygen between her words, she continued, '...It's okay.'
She grabbed the tip of his t-shirt to pull him closer. And the heated kiss continued for a while before his lips visited her earlobe for a tease.
After he moved southward slowly; leaving his hot breathing all over her neck, he finally reached past a gap between buttons to touch her feverish skin while shudders of pleasure took over her.
She murmured, 'Don't leave any marks, Bin.' The professor obviously didn't want to come to campus with marks all over her neck. It will be hard to cover it with clothes too as it was already in the middle of spring.
He let out a soft growl as he tried hard not to do that before he stopped all of sudden.
'...why stopped?' She asked him while his face was still in the crook of her neck. Yejin could feel his breath quickening too.
'It's 8, Yej. You need to go to work now.' He laughed but at the same time trying to suppress his own desire to continue.
Flush creeps across Yejin's cheeks at once after he said that. Remembering how she asked him why Bin stopped before, made her look like she was the one who wanted this badly.
When Bin was about to pull himself, Yejin hugged him tightly. 'I'm so embarrassed right now. And I don't think that I could see your face, Bin.'
The news anchor couldn't restrain his laugh, 'This is one of the many reasons why I adore you, Yej.'
Bin insisted on drove her to the campus later that morning and right before Yejin got out from the car, Bin looked her in strong eye contact with very little blinking, 'So...tonight?'
Yejin's glowing cheeks say it all, 'Tonight.'

During lunch, Bin called her, 'I don't think I could pick Ayeon up with you today, Yej. There will be an urgent meeting this afternoon. Would you be okay picking her up alone? I should've just let you drove the car this morning.'
'That's alright, I guess I'll see you tonight after the news live?' She assumed that Bin couldn't go home in the evening because of the meeting.
'Yes, I'll see you tonight.'
Yejin got to leave the office on time that day and decided to stop by at one of the department stores on the way home before picking up their gongjunim.
'Are you looking for something specific, sonnim?' Said one of the shop assistants from Simone
'Uhmm...' She tried to remember his preference, 'Do you have a set in black or dark red with a see-through short slip in the same color?'
The shop assistant showed her some pieces to choose from, from the ones with embordered tulle to something with some laces on them. Feeling the material on her hands made her face turned into crimson somehow.
Will he like this one? She thought to herself.

'Did she already fall asleep?' Bin asked her after he stepped into their apartment.
Yejin nodded, 'Eomma and Appa took her to the zoo all day. She must be tired; she went to bed quite early today.'
'What about you?' Yejin raised her brows to his question, '...are you tired, Yej?' His face was full of anticipation.
Seriously, Bin? Yejin swallowed her own laughter. She even bought new nightwear just for tonight. It was the same actually with him. Apparently, he couldn't stop his mind from wandering around all day.
'Isn't me who supposed to ask you that? I know you were really busy today, Bin. Are you tired?'
'Not tonight.'
The view of clothes and her newly bought nightwear could be seen covering the floor. It was almost two in the morning, but the lovebirds seem didn't to have any intention to sleep.
While euphoric satisfaction and completeness still lingering fresh, both of them lay on the bed facing each other.
Bin reached out his hand to brush her hair from covering her face, 'Would you tell me why you decided to leave, Yej? Would you tell me what was wrong with the two of us back then?'
She took a calming breath, 'No, there was nothing wrong with both of us. But I felt like...I'm not the one you need.'
Bin really wanted to say something but stopped himself from doing that and let her continued, 'I visited your mother that day and...I remember she said that she adores me and that it would be wonderful if she could see both of us getting married before it's too late.'
Yejin closed her eyes as she said this, 'I know it's only natural for a mother to said that, hoping that her son would get married soon. But I can't Bin. I couldn't put aside the fact that it could be her last wish, considering your mother's condition back then. And marriage wasn't my plan at that time as I still want to do so many things with my career. And we were so happy back then...I thought...I thought you wanted that too.'
'I'm sorry if you felt like you couldn't even tell me about that four years ago, Yej.' He could feel the heaviness in his chest as he skimmed his fingertips along her jawline.
'No...I shouldn't have run away, Bin. And when I finally realized that you're the one I want, it was too late. On my way to Schiphol Airport four years ago, I was ready to leave everything behind. I thought... if you really asking my hand in marriage and asking me to settle down in Seoul with you, I'll say yes to it. But once again...it was too late.'
Then Yejin told Bin how she 'hated' him for years. A mix of longing and disappointment because Bin got married to someone else in a short time while Yejin considering leaving everything behind just to be with him.
When Yejin told him that the bickering was her way to protect her feeling, Bin let out a small laugh, 'I saw the bickering as my way to get me to you though. I knew you tend to push me away, so I often do something just to irritates you, so we could bicker to each other.'
'I knew it!' She smacked him in the chest lightly but Bin pulled her closer. Enveloping her completely with his solid figure while both of their shoulders shook hard from laughing.
Smelling his favorite scent of berries and honeysuckle from her shampoo; Bin kept her in his arms before his eyes shifted towards her with a softening gleam. 'It's day one, okay?'
The beaming smile left her face as she answered him, 'It is.'
They stayed like that for a moment. Enjoying each other's heartbeat inside the dimmed bedroom. Both closing the eyes to savor the experience. Wondering how in the midst of this situation, they finally could find their way to each other again after all those years.
