15. Numb and Lamenting

'I'm just...I mean how? How could one person do sort of terrible things? I just don't get it, Bin' Said Yejin on their way to meet Mr. Lim Yoonsang, Lim Junseo's grandfather.

Bin took a glance at Yejin before shifting back to the road again, 'Right? But let's hope everything goes according to the plan.'

'What did your friends say?' Earlier, Bin called his friends who reside in Madrid and asked them if Theo could stay a day longer in the school with Aiden, Kim Taeri's son. You know, just to make sure that nothing would happen to Aiden while they wait for Kim Taeri's close confidant to arrive in Madrid.

Today supposed to be their last day before May Vacation, so most of the students will stay at their parents' home. As Aiden didn't have permission from his father to leave the school, he needs to stay there.

'Aiden is a good friend of Theo, so they both practically consider him as part of the family. They will stay at a hotel near the boarding school too tonight. Just in case the boys need them. Did you call someone from the embassy in Madrid?'

'Yes, I already make a call earlier and gave him your friends and Kim Taeri's number too.'

After 30 minutes ride, they finally arrived at Mr. Lim Yoonsang's house. Bin and Yejin wanted to look for anything that could prove Do Minhee was really the one who offered the job in the art center to Lim Junseo.

'Take your time, and if you have something to ask, I'll be outside, anchor Hyun and Ms. Son.' Said Lim Yoonsang before he left both of them in Junseo's bedroom.

They started from his desk. Opened the drawers one by one. Looking through closely at everything in it. Even reading Junseo's agenda relating to where he has been and his schedule.

There was nothing particular that showed his relationship with Do Minhee besides this one photograph tucked in between the thick agenda.

They could see Lim Junseo and Do Minhee sitting next to each other with laughter engraved on their face. There was no skinship at all, but Lim Junseo could be seen staring at Do Minhee.

In a second, Bin and Yejin turned their heads toward each other, 'Hmmm...a love triangle. How interesting.'

Bin added, 'No no no, it's a love square. Kim Taeri-Kim Jaewook-Do Minhee-Lim Junseo. Does it feel like a soap opera, doesn't it?'

'Ah, you're right. I know now how complicated yet intriguing rich people's secrets are.'

They continued searching at every corner of the room, but they found nothing. And an hour has passed.

Feeling rather dejected, the professor and the news anchor sighed heavily before Bin got a call from Director Han.

'Why? Do you need to go back to the office?' Yejin asked him.

'I don't think so, I have told him this morning that I won't be in the office throughout the day and he said okay. I just need to be there for the news live though.' But Bin went outside to take the call.

Wanted to get some water, Yejin got out from the bedroom too. As soon as she stepped out, Yejin could see Mr. Lim separating the trash in the kitchen before it will be put outside. There are also some milk cartons that need to be folded first.

'Do you need something, Ms. Son?' Mr. Lim's eyes shifted to Yejin.

'Can I get some water please, Ms. Lim? And I have a question too, regarding your grandson, Junseo and Do Minhee.'

'Of course, please take a seat.' While Yejin took a seat near the small kitchen island, Mr. Lim brought her the water.

'Thank you. Was Junseo really close with Do Minhee, Mr. Lim? Perhaps...were they more than friends?' Mr. Lim who sits next to her narrowed his eyes, trying to remember. 'Well, as far as I know, they were really close. They were childhood friends after all. And Junseo always looked so happy every time he met Minhee. But he never told me being in a 'relationship' with Minhee.'
