Can't get away- Sana

Earlier that day

Finishing my counselling session was a relief. I hate talking about the past with her because why bring up the past if we keep moving into the future anyway?   

If you're wondering why I need a counsellor it's because of an experience I had in the past with a girl. Minatosaki Sana.

Flashback 

"Sana...we can't keep doing this anymore this isn't working out"

"Y/N you can't leave me, you said we would be together for the rest of our lives!"

"That's just what young naive kids say. We are older now it can't go on"

"No."

"You can't say no to me leaving Sana. That's not how relationships work"

She stood there in our shared bedroom not facing me.  I could sense the tense atmosphere but there was also something else there. It was almost...evil. She was speaking in Korean which showed she was mad.

"You made a promise to me and you will keep that. Nothing will ever take you away from me" she said moving closer to me. Every time I took a step back she got closer and closer

"You have to stop this you're scaring me. If you keep acting like this I won't even think about changing my mind"

Our apartment wasn't too big so by now she had pushed me all the way to the kitchen

"If I can't have you no one can..."

Present day

And that's how I got my scar across my arm. Not only did she put me into therapy but she also scarred my whole arm with a single cut. It wasn't just a one time thing. Sana was the type to get jealous and would insist on coming everywhere with me. She would often cry and threaten to hurt me thinking I was going to leave or find someone else and of course I never was, until she went too far.

"Y/N??"

"Hello?"

"Oh there you are, come on we are going to the arcade!" said my friend Dahyun. I had 9 friends in total including Sana but after the incident we went down to 8. That's our little gang. Nayeon, Jeongyeong, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Me, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu. Luckily I wasn't the youngest.

"Okay okay I'm coming, where's your car?"

"It's just down here...oh and by the way only me and Chae today. The other's are either busy or just wouldn't come out"

"Oo sounds like fun. The 3 crazayyyy ones" I teased getting in the car and putting my seat belt on. "Oh and I know the cub is in the back of the car. You can't scare me anymore"

"Damn it Y/N you weren't meant to see me. You could of at least pretended that I scared you..."

"Sorry young one, now get up because I wanna go to the arcade!!!!!"

Once we were all buckled in Dahyun started driving. The car was filled with all of us shouting and screaming to song lyrics from our favourite K-pop groups and some English songs. We also sat in a calm silence for 5 minutes until finally we were there

"Can we have a basket ball competition first Y/N ssi?" the small blonde haired girl asked while we were strolling around passing the games

"You know you can't beat me, I used to be on the basketball team in school Chaengie"

"Let the girl have a try...unless you're to scared that she'll beat you"

"Yeah what Dubu said! You're too scared"

"Oh I'll show you who's scared"

We rushed to the machine and started the game at the same time so it was fair. Since I was taller than her it was easier for me to get the balls in the hoop but I wasn't as fast as I used to be.

"Ouch.." I said just above a whisper as I threw my 38th ball

"Y/N are you okay? Are you hurting?"

"I'm-"

"Do you need to go to the doctors? We can take you there right now!"

"No guys I was trying to say I'm okay, it's just my arm hurting" I sighed

"Well we can go home if you want, we played a few games at least"

"psh kids......"

"KIDS!? WE AREN'T KIDS!"

"You were so upset just then thinking we were gunna leave. Well I'll tell you Chaeyoung. We aren't leaving till you race me on the motor bikes"

"Oh game on bitch!"

We played many other games in the arcade and most of which i beat both the young girls at until they teamed up on me in table football and I lost. We also did a challenge who could win the most games which was obviously me. The loser had to buy lunch at the diner next to the arcade

"But Dahyun eats so much I don't wanna pay for it!"

"Get better at games then but until you do, suck it up and buy me a burger already"

"Tsch bitch.." she mumbled 

"Don't be rude Chaeyoung ssi, I can pay if you want. I should thank you guys for hanging out with me today anyways"

"Nono it's okay Y/N, a deal is a deal and I lost. What can I get you to eat?"

"Oh I'll have Y/FM (Your favourite meal) and Y/FD (Your favourite drink)"

"Oki I'll be back  now" she said and smiled happily

Within 5 minutes of skipping off to order she had come back with our drinks and a waiter carrying our food. It didn't take long for us to eat our food which was surprising considering how much we talked and gossiped to each other. Soon enough it got late and we had all finished our meal

"Thank you for a fun day guys, are you sure I can't drive you home Y/N?"

"No I'm okay thank you though Dahyun. I think I'll just walk home because it's close enough"

"Well be careful Y/N ssi, here take my jacket so you don't get cold on the way home" the cub beamed at me while handing me the piece of clothing which I wrapped around my body

"You guys get going, see you soon!"

As they drove off I began walking. It wasn't too dark but it was dark enough I had to use my phone for a flashlight even though it wasn't even that bright. I'd say it was about a 5 minute walk back to my apartment (the same one you and Sana shared) but I decided to take the scenic route which made it 15 minutes long. It was a starry night with clear skies and little droplets of water hitting the floor every minute.

Walking this route brought back lots of memories which I was reminiscing while I sat on the swing in the little run down park  

Flashback 

"Y/N chan isn't this beautiful"

"It really is. I wish we could stay here all the time"

"We can call this our spot. We come here whenever we are sad or angry and if the other can't find them then know they'll be here, waiting to be found"

"That's perfect Sana.."

Present day 

"We had such good times Sana chan, why did you have to ruin it..."

*SNAP*

"Uh..hello?" 

No answer.

"Is anyone there? Come where I can see you!"

...

"Y/N chan, didn't I say you'll never leave my side?"
