Childhood teddies

While packing can be fun, unpacking is the opposite. That was my first thought when Jihyo and I decided to move into our new house.

"You have lots of boxes here Y/N, are you sure this is all from your house??" Nayeon said while laughing, carrying a box labelled 'kitchen' into the kitchen.

"Well if I knew moving houses would be this difficult I would of stayed in my little flat" I joked with her

Suddenly the door opens to the house and in walks Jihyo.

"If you'd of stayed in your little old apartment then there would be no room for us to live together"

Jihyo and I met not too long ago but not too close either, I lived in my small apartment for a while and there was barely enough room for us two but we made it work.

We reccently bought and began moving into our new house since Jihyo had permission from the company and I was given a raise in my job. Our house was had a nice modern vibe and was big enough for myself andher members to stay in for a little if they wished

"Okay so there's only a few more boxes in the truck, stuff for the living room, bedroom, bathroom and a box labelled 'Y/N's old things'" Chaeyoung said joining in the conversation

"Just put them where the boxes say except the last one, I'll take that from the van now!"

"Why what's in the last one that I can't take?" the smaller questioned

"It's just sentimental stuff which I'll take care of"

"No need" Jihyo said positioning herself next to me while smiling

"I'll take care of it! You can sit here and rest because I know you've been very busy"

The were a few reasons I wasn't allowing anyone to take the box.

1. They were things from childhood- drawings, diarys ect

2. My childhood teddy, a little donkey blanket that was soft and adorable

That was the main reason I was protective over the box, just imagine the teasing if they found out.

"No it's fine leave it and I'll take it" I said in a rushed tone which I thought would of surely put them off...which I was wrong.

"Wow Y/N! What's this? It's adorableee"  Sana said coming in holding the teddy which was the exact same one I didn't want people to see.

"Aww Y/N it's so adorable, is it yours from when you were younger?" Jihyo questioned

"Yes it's name is Wonk and she is a donkey. Now can we please put her away and finish unpacking??"

"But it's so cute!!" multiple people said all together

"She is not an it! And this is why I asked you to let me handle it!! All of you would just tease me for it."

I pouted and crossed my arms over my chest as a sign of being annoyed. Suddenly I felt someone back hugging me and placing the little teddy infront of me.

"Don't be sad Y/NN they were only joking. Your girlfriend and her friends are sorry!" Jihyo said putting on a baby voice.

"Stop teasinggg, she was a big part of my childhood"

"I get it Y/N, I do! We all have little things from our childhood. Maybe we can put her on the shelf in our bedroom later?"

"Okay I'd like that, thank you Jihyo. And thanks you guys for helping us unpack!" I said in a more happy tone, hugging them one by one before standing next to my girlfriend.
