It was morning, the sun was gently shining through the gap in the curtain. A sleeping beauty beside me getting some well needed rest and then there's me, getting out of bed very soon to get ready for my day out

"Morning Y/N, leaving the dorm today?"

"Yup I think I'm gunna meet up with some friends and spend the day with them. We've had it planned for a while" I whispered to Jihyo who must of heard me moving around

I gestured for her to leave the room as I shut the door behind me quietly in a nice attempt to keep my girlfriend from waking

"While I'm gone make sure Mina is okay, she knows I'm heading out for the day I just hate leaving her. But we have to if we want to pull of the ultimate prank on her"

"Well you know the members and I will make sure she knows nothing about what your planning. She will probably be upset that you left and didn't say happy birthday to her though. You'll make it up to her so she'll be so happy!" she said energetically

"Well I'm gunna take my leave now but I've left my hoodie in the bedroom in case Mina misses me while I'm gone"

"Your a thoughtful girlfriend to our Minari Y/N but I'm not sure if pretending you forgot her birthday is going to end well with her" a different voice said coming from the hallway

"Well thank you Dub, your not too bad yourself!" I joked which earned a laugh from all 3 of us surprisingly

"Okok I'll be going now, have a good rest day guys!"

(With friends in coffee shop)

"Ahh finally the Y/N has arrived"

"Yeah yeah sorry I took so long, I decided to walk because it's a nice day"

"Well we ordered before you got here so you can get yours yourself" the girl smiled cutely at me

"Tsk, some friends you guys are..."

By the way my two friends I'm with are Ryujin and Yeji from Itzy. Because of dating Mina I'm friends with a few idols and different groups but these 2 are the closest.

"I'll just go order my drink and I'll be back, don't miss me too much kids"

"Hey we are older than you!!" Yeji shouted as I got up

"Yeah! And we wouldn't miss you in a million years"

They both joined in laughing with eachother while I quickly ordered my drink and went back to sit down

"So Y/N, your lover had a day off today and it's her birthday but you decided to spend it with us instead?" Ryujin asked me while silling her drink

"Yeah well this was planned before their break...plus she said it'd be silly to cancel and we can hang out tomorrow even though she seemed upset. I had to make her believe I forgot"

"Well she's understanding. Imagine letting the one you love be with her best friends on your birthday"

"She's nice like that Yeji, I know some people think she's kind of scary because of her stare but I know the real Mina"

"True, she's so nice at the company when we walk past"

"Yeah! Best penguin I've ever met" the younger of my two friends said in excitement
