The whole rest of the lunch break I spent wondering why people around me were acting strange once I told them my name

"Y/N?" a voice said from behind me

"Oh god Megan you scared me, what is it?" I asked slightly annoyed because I was enjoying my time alone

"They want us back inside. We have to practise our dancing skills plus they are giving us mentors as they want us to get the best experience for some reason. It seems excessive but oh well"

I sighed and picked up my phone from the side of the bench and stood up

"Come on then, best not make them wait for us"

After walking slowly to the practise room I was being led to I saw 9 girls and our supposed manager inside

"Ahh annyeong girls, glad you got here quickly. There are girls here who I would like you to meet as they will be very crucial in your training"

"I believe I have met Jihyo unnie in the cafeteria-"

"Let's introduce all the members just to get acquainted even if you have already met Y/N"

"O-ok" I said and hung my head down. The older girls chuckled at my antics and got in a line according to age order to introduce themselves

"One in a million, hello we are Twice!" the leader stated

"My name's Im Nayeon"

"Hirai Momo here"

"Miss Minatozaki Sana of course" she said while winking at me. Cute I thought to myself

"I'm Park Jihyo, the leader of Twice!"

"Woah Y/N" my friend said in amazement "You two have the same name, maybe she's your older sister!"

"Hahah..." Jihyo and I chuckled awkwardly not knowing what to say

"Well I'm Myoui Mina"

"Ahh your the girl who loves penguins!" I pointed at her as she blushed and hid her face

"Ehm, Kim Dahyun here!"

"My name's Son Chaeyoung, nice to meet you" she beamed me showing her cute and irresistible dimple smile

"Hello I'm the maknae Tzuyu, please treat us well!"

"Our other member Jeongyeong is on a personal break right now so she won't be able to be here today but you guys will meet later in the upcoming weeks" Nayeon said after they had finished

Megan and I showed them a small smile before our manager gestured for us to introduce ourselves to the older girls

"You go first Y/N" I heard Megan whisper as she pushed me in front a little bit

"No. You go first, you're more confident!"

"But Y/N your older than me so technically-"

"Okay girls let's just decide that Y/N can introduce herself first as she is the oldest"

"Yes sir" I said in defeat as I saw Megan from the side of me stick her tongue out at me. The rest of the older girls laughed at our interaction until it died down and I spoke up

"Hello, my name is Y/N Y/LN but recently I changed it to Park Y/N. It's a long story" I awkwardly chuckled and rubbed the back of my neck

"And I'm Megan, the coolest best friend she's ever had!"
