Chapter 3: The Outside

One day later, "Are you ready yet?" Star wined. 

"You can wait a little longer" Sun yelled back. It has been one day since Emerald said she was bringing us outside. But it still felt like a dream. I can't wait to find out about my family.

What if everyone wants to stay with their families? I thought looking at everyone. Well at least I will still be able to be near Star. But everyone else. What if I never seen any of them again. Well I can see what they want to do.

"Sun you should be about ready now right?" I asked. In our little cave there is like another little cave that we use as like a getting ready room. We call it a bathroom (even though there is no water in it. Except for a little stream of water).

"Almost!" She yelled. Then out of nowhere  Coral went speeding into the "bathroom" and came back dragging Sun by the tail. "Ow, that hurt!" Sun yelled. "Well then next time don't take so long!" Snapped Coral. "Guys stop fighting!" Diamond said walking in with her hands over her ears. "What is happening," Steam said. "Someone was just hogging the bathroom," Star said glaring at Sun. "Well,"Sun tried but failed to make a argument. "Isn't anyone else really excited about going outside!" Coral yelled after she drug Sun out of the bathroom.

"I am excited to go outside. I wonder what the sky looks like. " Diamond said. Of coarse I  was excited to go outside. All of us have been waiting all our life to go outside. I mean I have seen the sky because we have a hole that lets us see the sky. It is by were we hatched. the hole is in the biggest part of the cave system. It is not big enough that even baby us could get through (even Diamond couldn't get through it). 

"Are you almost ready?" Obsidian asked. 

"Almost," I said. 

"Well hurry up!" Obsidian yelled. 

"Okay! Hold your horses!" Coral yelled back.

"I wonder what it feels like having wind under your wings all the time," I said my mind wondering. "How hard do you think it will be to fly?"

"It is just fine" Obsidian said. "I am going to go if you don't hurry up."

"You won't," Coral snapped rolling her eyes. 

"Yes I will!" Obsidian said and we all heard the boulder move at the entrance. We bolted out of the cave and into the main area. There Obsidian was standing with a big smile across her snout. "I guess you can be fast." 

"That was not funny!" Coral yelled. 

"Ya. That was rude," Diamond agreed.

"You don't always have to be a camel face," Star said.

"Ya," Sun said in a snotty voice. I was pretty sure that they would have been dead if there had been no prophecy. I also wondered what it would be like to see my family. 

"Get out of here! Emerald is waiting," Obsidian said and for a second I think she was sad.

"Awww! you re going to miss us," Coral said.

"We will miss you too" Diamond answered. 

"Um.... guys we may have a problem," Steam said sounding scared

"Ooooohhhh, hello," Someone hissed and by the look of her she was the Gemwing queen. "I wonder why there are dragonets under my mountain!"
