Chapter 8: The Rescue of 2

"Star!" I yelled running to her. And grabbing her so hard she flinched before I brought her for a hug. She realized it was me and relaxed. Wildflower! I herd in my head. Everything around me disappeared and all I cared about was that Star was actually alive.

But as quickly as it came it was gone. As I herd dragons yelling from down the tunnel. I heard the queen yell "Down the tunnel! Their in there!" After that I heard clanking of metal. I tore down the tunnel with star close behind. I had just enough time to stuff her in a good hiding place.

I then ran away from her hiding spot towards the exit by the arena. I was caught by two guards on the other side of the tunnel. Stay put Star, don't you dare move! I thought fighting with the guards. I finally got loose and ran towards the arena and the exit. But before I could get out I heard Windflower! Help! I... can't... move! At that moment I heard a blood curtailing scream coming from the arena. My body moved before I could protest.

Before I new it I was at the arena looking as the queen was slashing her sparkly claws at Sandbays stomach. I spread my wings to attack the queen with swooping down on top of her when I realized that I still had bands on my wings. Shoot! And here I go! Before I new it I was almost to the ground. But I had to get to the queen.

So I beat my wings as hard as they could without being stretched out and by the moons I made it to the queen in time before she slashed her throat. I nearly got scratched myself. I flung myself at her after she attacked witch caused us both to roll to the other side of the arena. She hitting the wall. I pinned her done by her tail, claws and wings. I saw how huge she was.

She had black gems sticking out from under her scales. You could tell that she had been in a lot of battles by the great amount of scars on her body. She was now the color of Ruby's and her dark eyes stopped on me. I felt my body shrink as her eyes stared at me longer and longer.

It was like she was trying to figure out what to do with me. I was on top of her and looking at her.

"Windflower! Stop! Get off!" I heard from behind me but I couldn't move even with my greatest might. I was just to mad and I wanted to show her I wasn't afraid. Then two talons pulled me off of Queen Onyx.

"No! No! Nooo! She attacked my friends and she let Star die!" I didn't even care if it was not true. I was just so mad! I felt the heat rising in my throat! I opened my mouth and...

"Windflower!" I stopped I new that voice.I turned and it was Obsidian. Magma was behind her at that moment I realized that she was the one who fought Sandbay. I almost attacked her too. But before I could I heard. Windflower! Please help! I'm in trouble! And at that moment I felt a blistering pain and then fear ran all along my body. And I fell on the ground. And I saw as the Queen jumped on me.

And my chest felt like a brick wall had just landed on it. And then I couldn't breath then everything became blurry. I looked at Obsidians disappointed face and Magmas scared one, as they watched as the queen tried to kill me!
