I got inside and went straight to my room. I closed my door and sat on my bed thinking about what had just happened. I was nervous to even go to school tomorrow. Then I heard my mom call me for dinner. This time it was fried pork chops.
Ugh.
After I ate I went straight to bed.
The next morning when my mom dropped me and Kailey off, I told Kailey every thing that happened yesterday.
"Omg!"
"What?"
"So you do like him!"
"I don't know."
"Okay.."
I saw them in the hallway but didn't make eye contact.
At lunch they were at our table again.
I ended up sitting by Luke, but it was kind of awkward.
After school, I saw Luke.
"Hi" I said awkwardly.
"Hi..."
"So about yesterday.." I wanted to know why he held my hand.
"Why did you hold my hand?"
"Um.. Well.." He was stuttering and was bright red.
"Well, I like you too."
Don't ask how I gained confidence because I don't even know.
I walked away with him just standing there.
I found Kailey and we walked to the school.
I guess she could tell I was happy because she asked me if I had a boyfriend.
"No..." I said smiling.
"Yes you do!"
"Nope."
"Elaina you better not lie to me!"
"I'll take a lie detector!"
"Hm ok."
I was so happy.
