My back hurt, but this was the best day of my life.
Me and Kailey got up and went next door.
The door was open, so I walked in and sat on the couch like normal.
Luke walked in and sat next to me.
Kailey was waiting outside for her mom to pick her up.
"Are you alright?" He seemed worried.
"I'm fine. My back just kind of hurts."
I turned to face the TV and put my hand on Luke's.
He grabbed my hands and put his fingers where they're supposed to be.
I smiled and put my head in his lap.
Then Ashton walked in.
"Oh look at the lovely couple!" He said smiling bigger than usual.
Luke played with my hair, twisting and twirling.
Then Michael came in and sat down on my legs.
"Hey!"
"Hey hey hey hey!"
I took the remote and started flipping channels.
Nothing good.
I hugged Luke and high fived everyone else and was about to leave.
Then Luke called my name.
"Elaina!"
I ran inside.
It seemed important.
I looked at the TV.
Another girl was missing.
I knew this girl too.
This time it was my best friend.
Kailey.
