"Are you sure?"
"Yeah it's just that I knew the girl that went missing today."
I was still focused on the television.
"Oh. Thats a shame."
"Hm? Oh. Yeah."

Luke sat next to me on the couch.
He left space so Michael sat next to me and pushed me off and took my spot.
"Oh Michael you're too kind."
I was annoyed, but for some reason I laughed.
"I know."
I sat on the other couch with Kailey.
Kailey texted me and told me she felt awkward, so I told her to talk to one of them.
She ended up talking to Ashton.
I wasn't surprised. Ashton and her were like the perfect couple.
They try not to swear and they both say stuff like a parent would.
I cussed, but not a lot. Only sometimes.

Me and Kailey were hungry, so we decided to leave.
Before we left I hugged Luke.
He was WAY taller than me so it was like a big bear hug.
I'm really short.
I'm 5ft and 1 in.

The next morning, I woke up at like 7 in the morning. Kailey was still asleep so I decided to watch the news because nothing good is on at this time.
The story about the missing girl was on.
She was found.
Dead.
She was found in a ditch out in the country. I didn't cry, but it was sad that she died. I can't believe how all of her friends are going to react to this.
She was found while a man was jogging by the ditch. He always did his morning jog by the ditch.
The man wasn't found, but they did find a piece of his clothing.
But it didn't matter anyways because it was found in a puddle.
I decided to wake up Kailey and tell her about it.
She didn't really care, but whatever.
We got up and made breakfast and went outside.
I tried to teach Kailey how to penny board, but instead I taught her how to fall without dying. She fell 10 times in the five minutes I was teaching her.
I ended up just penny boarding and Kailey riding my bike.
This time I heard a car honk at me again.
"Goddamn it" I thought.
This time I wasn't in the road.
I was on the sidewalk.
I look over and it's Luke and Ashton honking at me and Kailey.
I waved, forgetting I was on a penny board and hit a rock.
Again.
This time I landed on my back.
Right on top of a rock.
"Crap."
It felt like I was just stabbed.
Luke, Ashton, and Kailey were hovering over me.
Luke picked me up and put me in his car while Kailey took my penny board and road back home.
I sat up front with Luke and Ashton sat in the back.
When we stopped at my house, Luke picked me up and carried me in my house. My mom was home, but she was in her room and didn't notice.
Luke laid me on the couch, kissed my forehead, and left.
After ten minutes past, I actually got up and went in my room. Kailey went in looking at me worried until I told her I was fine. Then she gave me a big smile.
"He kissed you!"
