Teens? - Chapter 19

"Yeah, I think she loves better than me. I'd choose her too if I were you." Ralph replied. It was quite for a little, after we finished laughing a little. All was heard was giggles.

"Hey, why don't we go to the mall and Dairy Queen after? We can take laiklyn." I told him, I knew I didn't want to see my family after that fiasco with my mom.

"Uh sure, but we don't have a car." I kissed my teeth.

"Right, well, we have loads of cars here, we could just barrow one from someone."

"We could take bri and Isaiahs car, they have a car seat don't they?"

"Yeah we could ask. But it sometimes smells like weed." His eyes went big.

"They smoke!?!" I shook my head quickly.

"No! Bri does."

"Oh. Wait what!"I got up and changed laiklyns clothes, packed her bag and went out to ask my brother for the car. I knew he would say yes.

"Hey! Zai! Can we borrow the car? We're taking laiklyn out for the day."

"Huh? Oh yeah, sure, just make sure you drive it, not Ralph, I still don't trust him nor you, little girl!" Who got him mad?

"Right! Okay, thanks!" I answered.

"Let's go love." I told Ralph.

"Lets." I got laiklyn into the car seat, Ralph in the passenger, me in drivers. We decided to go to the mall first, we walked around a lot and went into stores. I bought some clothes and stuff animals for me and laiklyn. An older couple looked at me and Ralph crazy, probably because we look like we're 14 but whatever. The older lady came up to us and started judging us.

"Who are your parents? And why are you here with a boy? You're to young!" I looked at her crazy.

"What?" I told her.

"Who are your parents! And why do you have a kid!" Yeah I had forgotten laiklyn looks a lot like me.

"How old do you think we are?" I asked her in an angry tone, Ralph was quite. But then of course laiklyn started crying.
"Love, can you take care of her real quick?"

"Yeah, of course." He picked her up and started carrying her and whispering cute things to her, he even gave her a little kiss on the cheek, that calmed her a little more. But still crying.

"Y'all look like 14 year olds! And to have a kid! I'd be ashamed of myself!" I was beyond mad. Laiklyn wouldn't stop crying and I ended up holding her, she stopped crying but I started to speak.

"You don't even know me and are already judging me just of how I look. I'm not even 14!" She got mad at me.

"I don't believe you!" I scoffed at her.

"You don't have to." I noticed someone around 16 was with them, maybe their daughter.

"Mom! That's Ralph Macchio! He plays Johnny Cade! Can I have an autograph?" I rolled my eyes.

"You have a kid with her, that skank?" The mom said so snobby.

"Mom! She's a model!"

"And she's my girlfriend." Ralph said. I looked at him and he knew what I was going to say. He played along.

"Yeah I am a model and yeah this is my kid and what about it?"

"You're probably lying and have a kid that's not his just to have money!" The mom yelled.

"Okayyyyy! Well this is my kid and he is the father!" I knew Ralph was surprised but hid it.

"Right! I believe you!"

"Hey! That is my kid and that's my to-be fiancé!" Ralph yelled.

"You couldn't have a kid with her! Y'all just got together!" The daughter yelled.

"That's what you think." I answered back.
"Oh yeah and I'm 22 you old hag."

"Don't call me that!"

"Then don't assume crap! Now me and my family will be taking our leave. Away from y'all." I felt bad that laiklyn had to see that. Or be apart of it even more. Then it hit me. The news are going to talk.
"Ralph!"

"Yeah?"

"We just said that we're getting married and have a kid together! This is going to be the talk!"

"Oh jeez BearBear, I didn't even think." I let out a sigh, none of us used our brains.

"Well I guess we're just going to have to announce it in another interview."

"Yeah, maybe Marcus can get us one here."

"I'm pretty sure he can." I called Marcus and he had the date set in a couple of days, "great" I thought, it would be out in a hot minute, but it's whatever.
"It's in 4 days."

"Okay, but it'll be all over the news by then."

"Yeah I know but we just got to explain our side."

We drove home listening to music, laiklyn had thankfully fallen asleep on the way home. She was staying with me until we leave. Bri didn't really care but my brother had missed her a lot. I wish I could let her stay with us in LA but sadly I would have to try harder to convince them. Maybe I could though.
We had gotten home and I guess I felled asleep on the ride home even though I was supposed to drive.

"Babe! Wake up!" I didn't want to do I just kept my eyes closed. He sighed and kissed my head. He got laiklyn out. Was he really going to leave me? Well the answer is no. He came back and tried again to wake me. No used I was so close to sleep again. He went and picked me up. I didn't even care anymore, I was just so tired. Thankfully I was wearing a pretty big shirt that didn't fit me at all. Ralph laid me down on the bed and just took my pants off of me and shoes. The shirt was covering a lot of me. He had gotten laiklyn to sleep.
"Good night, I love you." He kissed me on the lips and on my cheek.

He's perfect for me. <3
