Interview - Chapter 22

Ralph and I got tired and left at 3am. The party was still going on. We had an interview in 2 days now. I drove home since Ralph was little tipsy. I mean he was fine but I wasn't going to let him drive.

We got home and I dragged him out of the car. We soon went inside to see Laiklyn. She was awake and crying in my moms arms.

"What's wrong?" I asked my mom.

"She started crying before y'all got here."

"Why?" Ralph asked.

"Maybe she thought y'all left like you did Chloe?"

"Maybe, she was attached to my hip basically." Wasn't lying, she was everywhere I was. If I was at the store she was with me. Movies, she's there watching with me. Anywhere, anytime. It was hard for her to see me leave and not come back after a week like I said I would. I've been told she would cry everyday for weeks. It broke my little heart.

"When are y'all going back?"

"LA? In a month or two, why?" I responded.

"Your brother wants you to visit more, and he'll visit whenever he can. He said he hasn't had a good nights rest until you came back. Maybe visit more for her."

"How often would he go?"

"Every two months. He'll try."

"I'll try to go more."

"Good, cause she keeps us up." She said jokingly.

I grabbed Ralph by the arm and told him let's go. We went into the room to see a baby sleeping with dried tears. Ralph tossed himself onto the bed. He was already asleep. I picked laiklyn up and she was waking up. She opened her eyes, ready to cry, but she saw me and laughed.
"You gotta go mimis, it's to late." I was rocking her to sleep. She finally got to bed around 20 minutes later.

Once I got her to bed, I changed my clothes. I turned around ready to go to bed, but was greeted to Ralph. He was just laying down. Watching me.

"Just have my kids, love." He told me, giving me a kiss.

"Maybe if we marry."

"Defiantly."

A pause.

"I want my babies to have your eyes." I told him.

"Our babies would be models. Just like their momma." We were laying down now.

"Change." I told him.

He got up and grabbed clothes. I was almost passed out. I then felt arms around me again.

"I love you." He gave me a kiss on the head.

I didn't say nothing, I was to tired to. I just got closer to him. And kissed his cheek.

We woke up around 9, we needed to get ready for the interview. Ralph was up before me, getting breakfast for us. He took laiklyn with him.
I wore a white blazer with some jeans pants. I did my hair, leaving it in it's natural waves.

Ralph was already dressed up, he was wearing a white button down with jean pants. He came in and saw me and his jaw dropped.

"You look beautiful." He gave me kiss on the lips. I wasn't wearing makeup, went natural.

"Thank you, you look nice too." He gave me another kiss.

"Want some food?"

"Yes, I am starving!" We finished eating and it was around 10, we needed to be there at 10:30 am so we were good. We didn't have a baby sitter so we took laiklyn with us.
"We're gonna have to take laiklyn."

"Fine with me love, hopefully she doesn't be distraction during it."

"Hopefully not."

Ralph drove us to the interview, it was 10:15, very close to my house. We took laiklyn down, we put her near us, in our sight. Everyone looked at us crazy, thinking we actually had a kid together, laiklyn surprisingly looks very similar to me but has Ralph's eyes.

"Are y'all ready?"

"Yes." Ralph and I said at the same time.

"3 2 1 action!"

"Okay, so hi my name is Jennifer and I'll be you guys interviewer. You are Ralph Macchio, correct?"

"Yes, that's correct, nice to meet you." Ralph waved a little.

"And you must be his girlfriend? Raelynn Falcon?"

"Yes, that's me, nice to meet you." I waved how Ralph did to her.

"Well you are very pretty, he must be very lucky to have you as his girlfriend and mother of his daughter."

"Ahh, well you see, she's not mine or his." They all had wide eyes.
"She's my brother's! I didn't just pick her up!" I smiled and laugh.

"Oh, I thought you did something to get her!" Jennifer laughed.

"No, we would never do that to a baby." Ralph said.

"She's my niece, I'm taking care of her while I'm here, but I think Ralph is too attached to her." I joked.

"Really?"

"Yes, he even lets her call him my nickname for him! He's like a second dad to her, basically!"

"Am not! You're practically her mother!"

"I'm her tia, of course I'm going to be."

"So we heard what happened at the store a while ago. What happened there?"

"This older women came up to us being very rude about us, especially since she assumed our ages." Ralph told her.
"That's one of the reasons we wanted to get interviewed."

After explaining, she started talking about our relationship.

"So, how long have y'all been dating?"

"About 5 months now." (Idk really)

"Wow, almost half a year. How'd you meet?"

"He called my manager and said to just get ready and go to LA, I didn't know why, I thought he was going tom meet someone, I come in seeing him, I started stuttering, I have a natural stutter, and he's there teasing me about it. He started flirting with me more. Ahd I was supposed to say for a month there and out of no where he asks me to move in with him. It was so crazy cause I had a crush on him since the first time I saw him. It was crazy."

Sorry I took long I was studying for tests. I'm doing really good and after I'm done testing I'll be having more time.
